Jim I have been having your stuff for about two yr\’s now and have only just started to take a very serious interest in Ebay.
I have read much about what the ebay \’experts\’ have to say but you have have always been consistant and open without the flannel.
Looking forward to making a success on ebay at last with your help.

[REPLY FROM JIM]: Great to hear from you Clifford! I avoid the fluff as best I can and deliver only what really works. Since I make a living on the web myself (have been for years) I have a chance to test what works. (FYI: About 20% of my newsletter readers are from the U.K.! I noticed your email address was U.K.)

I like your blog. I’ll be a returning visitor on a regular basis. Thank you for all the helpful information in your news letter. I’m reviewing the Silent Sales Machine. This book is a store house of useful knowledge. What I like most about it is you leave out all the fluff and get down to business. There’s so much information inside this wonderful book. I look forward to putting all this information into action!

Great blog, Jim. I too bought your book Silent Selling Machine on eBay but would like to be able to get updates on your resources. I don\\\’t remember how to do that. Could you send me that information?
    Thanks!

[[reply from admin]]: Great to hear from you Nancy. The resource page link is located in all of Jim\’s ebooks. If you open the book and do a search for \”resource page\” you will find it mentioned several times. FYI the resource page is only available to customers that buy one of Jim\’s books. (i.e. SilentSalesMachine.com) To search the ebooks click on the binoculars icon, or click on file and search from the top menu of the reader and type in \’resource page.\’

I find that I prefer a real book. Can I purchase this book NOT as a pdf? It is harder to sit at the computer and read, I have tons of stuff waiting to be read and I keep putting it off. I think I should not put off reading this. So, I am reluctant to buy as a pdf.

[[reply from Jim]]  We use the eBook format for many reasons:

    -a better price for you
    -immediate delivery is possible
    -easy updates are possible
    -no shipping charges
-clickable links can be put in the book

We do have plans to start offering some books in printed form, but you can print them yourself with the money saved. We\’ll raise the price $5-$10 to send out \”printed\” copies when we start offering it.

    Hi Jim

I am learning alot from everything I read here.

I am getting ready to sell a 125k 1932 Coupe HotRod, if you could give me any pointers it would be much appreciated

[[reply from Jim]]: Here is the same advice I give other people with a high ticket item they want to sell on eBay. If you have an ebay account established with good feedback (over 50 or so) you can do it yourself and likely get top dollar - if you do it right (main tip is to take a LOT of pictures). If you do not have a strong account already you should find a sellers assistant on eBay and use them to sell your car. Odds are there is a trading assistant in your area that you could use. Use the link at the end of this post to go directly to the trading assistant page on eBay where you can locate a pro to help you sell your item. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-1751-2978-71/1?AID=5463217&PID=1940753&mpre=http%3A//tradingassistant.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FTradingAssistant%26page%3Dmain\\

Jim - Your newsletter of 1/9/07 “Is it worth the cost?” struck a huge chord. Presently I’m in an executive degree program which will, if all goes well, earn a BS in about 2 years. I did this because I was “given a choice” to take early retirement a bit more than a year ago, from a high tech company, and since then have been coping with obtaining living expenses, dealing with bureaucracy of legendary proportions and trying to digest all of the information out there. Trying to keep my daughter in a good school so she’ll be able to survive. And in all of this I’ve been trying to get my internet business started. It’s been a rude awakening to see how unconscious I was of all the opportunity that’s been out there while I was striving to get that ever elusive “1″ rating. Somehow I’m beginning to see a way and hope (need!) to get it rolling in ‘07. Thanks for everything Jim.

    Hello Jim!
I will start off by saying ” I have found your newsletters great. Since signing up approximatly 1 month ago, I have gotten a real desire to Make an income online. I will have my first website and Ebay store very shortly,(within days I hope). Listening to your videos and reading your newsletters has lit a fire in me, and that I can thank you for. When I first signed up I had little knowledge and pretty much ($0) income from the internet, I am positive I will be posting a nice income in the future, With some work and creativity, and of course help from You. I will look back at this post and remember where I was and how far I have Climbed.”
    cheers

    Jim,
I got your ebooks and have been slowly digesting to get enough info (and feeling of enough security in how to do it) as have been thinking about becoming an eBay seller. Have been buyer for 6 years and think that a good place to gather a certain amount of into. But you and your info are the best source out there and much appreciated. Your ebooks are also a great buy for everyone. Thanks for the link to Andrew Higgins’ new ebook on really using the internet for real estate. Am looking forward to more info from him on that. Thanks for your great blog and all the updates. Your newsletter is informative and appreciate the updates. Your info is helping and encouraging a lot of us out here.

    Hi Jim,
Ebay is changing the feedback protocol and eliminating neg. ratings for buyers. What leverage does that leave sellers? Are we now at the mercy of false claims and blackmail? Or will this change eliminate these problems?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Jim,
Great blog and great video - you are a no nonsense kind of guy I am thinking, which is great considering all the crap I have been through (my own fault) so far on the net. Hoping to be able to make this a go this time around. Thanks.
