Can I be blunt?
Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 - 10:43 am
This may hurt a bit, but I feel the need to be blunt today.
If you’ve been reading this blog or my free newsletter for more than a couple months and you still haven’t joined MySilentTeam.com WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? The price will NEVER go down…and as it gets better and better the price WILL go up.
Need a little shove?
Let me tell you about ONE of our over 30 inspirational contributing experts…
Several years ago I was reading a book by Robert Allen titled “Multiple Streams of Internet Income”.
One of the people that Robert brags about in the book is Robbin Tungett. She is listed as a living example of a successful online entrepreneur that we should all pay attention to when it comes to online success.
I took Robert’s advice and joined Robbin’s mailing list (I still read every issue).
Jump forward years later and Robbin and I have become close colleagues at the top of our field, but I still consider her a mentor that helped pave the way for others to follow.
The words that come to mind with Robbin are integrity, honesty, transparency, and SUCCESS.
What’s in it for you?
I shouldn’t have been surprised when Robbin contacted me a few days ago offering every member of MySilentTeam.com FREE access to her amazing collection of resale rights eBooks, reports, software and “re-brandable” products. Many of these can be sold on eBay for nearly 100% profit.
To see Robbin’s site click here. Toward the bottom of that page is a link to see all the items that are included with a membership.
Want it all for FREE?
Join MySilentTeam.com and get FREE access to Robbin’s site as just one of over $1,500 worth of UNIQUE bonuses and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of monthly value INCLUDING direct access to our experts like Robbin on our amazing forums.
Leave me a comment below…why haven’t you joined MySilentTeam.com yet? How can we make it even more attractive to you as THE PREMIER DESTINATION on the web for creative ideas and advice about Internet and eBay success?

It’s a chicken and egg thing. I won’t have enough money to invest in any more education on how to make money until I make some money! Your monthly fees may seem trivial to you, but to a single mom of 3 kids (all adopted!), living paycheck to paycheck, it’s hard to justify the expense until I have some extra money coming in. More money = more time to try new things and more wiggle room for failure. But one of my ideas is GOING TO WORK……
[[reply from Jim]] Rebecca -I understand your situation and ask that you keep in mind that a college degree costs tens of thousands annually, and I fully believe that the value and earning potential of what we teach on MySilentTeam.com is far more valuable than most degrees you could pursue! That being said… we do award scholarships to those with a plan. Please write down your plan for success IF you were granted a membership to MySilentTeam.com and we’ll consider you for a scholarship. Anyone can apply. The more thorough and ambitious your plan the better shot you have at a scholarship. Send your request to this email address: webmaster (@) MySilentTeam.com (remove all spaces)
Hi Jim,
The problem with most membership sites is that they don’t offer a money back guarantee. This makes one hesitant to join. Most membership sites overcome this problem by offering a one-off sign-up to a free trial, say for two weeks. Obviously, it has to be a one-off otherwise some would abuse the site owner’s generosity by repeatedly cancelling their subscription and then signing up for a new free trial.
I know you offered a $1 trial some time ago, but I think the concept of a one-off free trial would be more appealing. And I think this incentive should always be available to new prospective members, not just for a couple of weeks.
Personally, I think the ‘Initial Fee’ should also be scrapped. Why force people to pay $59.95 just to try out your site with no money back guarantee? If you think your site is that good, and I don’t doubt that it is, then the free trial followed by normal membership subscription would probably encourage more people to sign up.
Just my opinion.
Best regards,
Nick
[[reply from Jim]]: If you were right you’d have a good point, but WE DO offer a $5 trial for 5 days. Click the order button on any page of MySilentTeam.com to see the offer. The fact that you missed it does tell me that we’d be better off advertising it more…Thanks for the great feedback! (btw - DON’T take the $5 trial unless you are ready to be blown away)
Hi, Jim. Actually, I haven’t been here before - so I guess you aren’t talking to me! Will definitely look into your program to see what you’ve got cooking!
One point to consider - when people hear the terms “passive stream of income” or “multiple streams of income” - they often assume those terms mean easy money. I have found just the opposite. An entrepreneur has to work hard and put in many unpaid hours of internet marketing BEFORE those income streams appear. Wouldn’t you agree?
Regards-
Suzanne Wells
[[reply from Jim]]: Not all of my passive income streams were hard to establish…but they all required one thing. TAKING ACTION. I see eBay and Internet business opportunities as the all time greatest opportunity in history for the “average guy” to make it. If you can’t at least TRY and be willing to fail a few times then you aren’t a true entrepreneur! Is it easy? No…Worth the effort? YES!!
Hello again, Jim.
Thank you for pointing out the incorrect statement I made in post #2 above but…
There is no mention of a trial anywhere on the home page of MySilentTeam.com, and you don’t mention it in the video tour either.
There are a number of ways to get to the subscription form (5.cfm) from the home page. Some links lead initially to the ‘Membership has its advantages!’ page (10.cfm). This page does not mention the $5 trial or the three month sign-up option — you don’t see these options unless you click through to the subscription page (5.cfm). And if you want to pay by PayPal, you don’t get any options at all! (That’s why I missed the $5 trial in the first place.)
Furthermore, if you click one of the links on the home page that takes you straight to the subscription form (5.cfm), you don’t even get to find out about the PayPal option!
So, I am sure you will agree that a prospective customer might well get confused.
And as I said before, scrapping the $59.95 initial fee could help to boost sales.
Okay, that’s it for now. Until next time…
Nick
[[reply from Jim]]: Thanks for the great feedback!
Hi Jim,
I’d have to agree with Nick. The $59.95 start up fee has always been the deciding factor for me. I would be happy to pay a flat fee of $59.95, OR a monthly fee…but not both. I have no doubt that your site is well worth every penny and I hope to join your team someday…but just can’t swing it right now!
Best Regards,
Jennifer Maddox
[[reply from Jim]] : It’s a hard spot we are in to price the site adequately to reflect the value and hard work that goes into it while not making it too expensive for people with tight budgets. If you can’t find ways to make 10X the investment back within a couple of months though you shouldn’t be a member anyway though…there are just so many possibilities and ideas that work. Hope to see you on the site soon!
Hi Jim. I am sure you offer great information through your membership but you can only subscribe to so many.there is no point of having a membership if you are not using it and can’t even keep up with so much coming from others membership. my goal right now is to learn to lazer focus on one thing so I can produce and get result.then I will subscribe to your membership and give a try. I believe should give something a try a lest once. By the way your new letter are amazing
and your staffs are friendly with great customers service. Happy Holidays and have an abundant year to you, your family and staffs
I have been a member of mysilentteam and I must say it is excellent value. I have cancelled my membership for the moment as funds are squeezed but I will definitely be rejoining when funds allow.
I know that my main problem is too much study and not enough action and that is what I am remedying at the moment.
Thanks
I would love to become a member of your team but until I can get this whole ebiz worked out in my head and on the net I am sure it would just confuse me more. I work full time right now and have little time to spare as life eats it up. I want to start but I am unsure where to start. I have read your book and I am very inspired to start but again what do I do first. Just call me confused.
Hi Jim, My situation is the same catch 22 as many others.I am so flat out at my day job it,s hard to fit in, all I have to do, now! If I could make extra cash, that would make it possible to slow down with my job somewhat, thereby buying me a little more time to devote to online biz, thereby enabling me to slow down the job a bit more and etc etc one would help the other. If I am going to get more involved , it will only be with your site JIm. Thanks
I guess I just dont get Jim. If this is so easy why are you messing around with this newsletter that Im sure takes up a lot of your time. There is no one in the world that wants to help someone else without making a nice profit for themselves. Why arnt you not just doing ebay
[[Reply from Jim]]: One of the best observations I’ve seen in awhile Dale! The fact is I type out an article or two in about 30-45 minutes once per week and some weeks that’s all the “work” I do all week! The rest of the editing, formatting, publishing, setting up the links online etc. is outsourced. It just doesn’t feel right to outsource the content and put my name on it…I love my subscribers and I love hearing how they succeed. That’s what keeps me interested. I have multiple income streams and am setting up new ones all the time though. Many of them have nothing to do with my eBay audience.
hey jim,i hope you doing right.
iam one of the persons that you refer in your letter.iam new at this bussines, with no knowledge, but i feel iam diferent from a lot people that feel confuse at the same time as a read in some of your letters, because iam unemployed right know and i dont have the money to join to your team at the moment, but as soon as i have the chance to doit, ill be one of your members.first, because i beleive i can make this work even with my poor knowledge but i confidance in my self and for some reason i beleive in you.
you see i start living my life by the power of our beleives even in the situation that i am right thats not goint to stopme or bringme down, because i know there its something bether for me and my loveones outh there, besides i have a great wife that giveme her support no matter waht and three great kids and a lot of things to be greatfull of my life,so we will be in touch as soon as i have an oportunity to be part of your team.
my best wish to you from me and my family.
