Jim,
Could “SmartMoneyWebsites” be used to work the 5 minute affiliate marketing strategy on eBay? As you know, there is a squeeze page and autoresponder included in the set-up. If so, what are your reccomendations for using SMW to make it work? How would you get the squeeze page from SMW to the eBay classified site? Would you just link to your SMW site? I have invested in SMW and would like to use it for this type of project. Your thoughts please.
Thanks,
Rick Wagoner
This whole Classified ads thing sounds quite potent. I wish eBay was a little more clear and uniform, though, about what we can include within such a listing, and what we can’t.
Jim’s mentioned before, in previous articles/newsletters about ClassAds, about the disparity in eBay’s policies around Classified Ads. I too have experienced differing interpretations about what’s kosher (i.e. what kinds of content and links) in a ClassAd and what’s not - based on my interactions with eBay Customer Service. I really hope eBay eventually comes to a consenual conclusion about what they find acceptable within the context of ClassAda and what’s unacceptable.
From what I can tell, since you pay for a CA listing “up fromt”, they seem to be substantially more lax about what kinds of links you include within the listing, compared to traditional listings.
I’m sure if/when eBay chooses to provide comprehensive clarity on the issue, Jim will be among the first to let us know.
In the meantime, it sounds from Jim’s video that including affiliate links within ClassAds is acceptable, and it sure sounds like a profitable business model.
Cool beans.
