The amazing power of the eBay classified ad

I was going to run a classified ad for a Clickbank digital product. I was specifically looking for a product where the affiliate did not have their own squeeze page as I was going to have my own squeeze page in my ad to collect names. I had several picked out, but when I went back to their websites, I found they had added their own SPs. Do you think people will fill out both? I don’t think they will and wanted some feedback.
    Thanks

Ok, here’s an update - I went ahead and ran an ad

I’m all new to this, so if anyone can look at it and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve had no sign ups or sales, and I started the ad on 2/16. I’d like to get the hang of this, not expecting to make a lot of money off of 1 ad, but would like to get some sales/signups so I don’t have to go look for a J-O-B. I really like doing this stuff, I’d just like to see some positive results.
    Thanks for your time

I really like your win-win approach with ebay both with the classifieds and regular auctions. I’m still working on implementing your recommendations but the ones I have work well.
    Thanks for great advice

    This NOTE is for TRACY.

I looked at your ebay classified ad and just wanted to comment:

    - First, this program is junk! Find another one. There’s many more great ones in Clickbank
    - Start your ad at .01 cents and mention the price in the ad itself (if you want).
    - You got to HIDE your affiliate I.D.!!! Very important. Use TinyURL.com to create a short url address. It’s best to have your own host but Tiny URL is ok
    - Your Squeeze Page is good. Use that to give away your “7 Things You Must Know”. Then send them to your affiliate website. Don’t put both on there. Too confusing!!! Plus they know you are an affiliate. Got to try and HIDE that if at all possible.
-Re-write the ad around your squeeze page. Get people interested first, give them something free along with a LINK to the website. Should get more hits that way.
    TRY IT!!! John

I’m not sure if I understand.

If I run an ad on my site for someone else’s classified ad. How do I make the money from the sale. How is that tracked when the buyer can call and email the seller?

    Thanks,
    Rich

I am an affiliate with CJ and run CJ ebay ads on my site. If I run an ad for someone that does custom sewing how do I make commissions from her sales? How are they reported to ebay, to CJ to me?

    THIS NOTE IS FOR RICH,

    Rich,
If you run an ad for someone that does custom sewing they must be an Advertiser listed in CJ or CLICKBANK. You get the commissions thru their links, etc. If they are not members of cj, you can direct them (in the ad) to another page with payment links (paypal).
    Hope this helps, John

    Thanks for the help John,

I am glad to have come across your note about the classifieds on ebay. I sell domain names and I think running classified adds for all at once is a much greater idea than seperate auctions. Plus I can advertise some affiliate items too. I’m still getting the hang of it but I’ll have a nice ad set up within the coming weeks I hope.

Check out what I have so-far on my ebay classified ad:
