I don’t know if this book (and all 5 previous releases) is the all time best selling eBook or not, but it’s been selling like crazy since 2004 on the top eBook website, clickbank.com, and it’s been at the top of the charts for much of that time making several appearances at #1.
I’m humbled by it all. And grateful.
After much editing, creative input and long hours of hard work I’m about to release the latest and greatest (version 6 of the book) .
The website is being re-worked and finalized now - it really needed an update!
This is a final warning though that within a few days the NEW book with a NEW higher price will be out. Right now you can get the old version for $24.95 and we’ll give you the latest upgrade (version 6 pictured above) for free when it’s released within days.

I don’t get it. I already purchased your “old” book, so why don’t I get the new one free without purchasing it again?

Well, I sent the email. Then I went to the page indicated in the book. There was supposed to be a link there to an update, but there was only a link to the sales landing page for the book itself for people who are buying it for the first time.
In short, I have seen NOTHING telling me how to update this book and it’s becoming a little frustrating, frankly.
EDITOR NOTE: The new version isn’t out yet, but once it is you’ll be able to get it. If necessary we’ll have you identify a word off of a certain page (i.e. what’s the third word on page 4) to get the latest. Keep in mind…the book ISN’T released yet - it’s coming soon and then you can drop us an email and we’ll take care of you if you are having trouble getting it.

I note your comment above that previous buyers can get the updated version from the resource page. Will you be indicating which and where changes have been made to avoid reading through the whole book again which seems unecessary when i guess the majority of it has not changed.
REPLY FROM JIM: That’s a great idea, but unfortunately the book has been more than just “updated” with a few edits. Major sections have been removed/replaced and rearranged. It’s a total make over. Much of the info will be the same, but it would be impossible to identify the “new ideas” with a different font etc. You can however just look through the table of contents and get a good idea of what sections will appeal to you. The book is actually a tad bit SHORTER this time with more references to external sites and videos for additional info.
When will you be posting the download link to the latest version 6?

REPLY FROM JIM: You tell me what web 2.0 is and I’ll tell you if it’s in there…deal? (just kidding - sort of) Web 2.0 is a buzz word that doesn’t really do much for me. I like to write about what works. When web 3.0, 4.0 and 9.0 come out as buzz words I’ll still be writing about what works. I do spend some time on things like youtube and some social marketing, but this book is more of about teaching you how to think and identify opportunities (if you are a newbie there is plenty of step by step detail of how to start as well). Basically it’s my take on what works regarding eBay, youtube, aweber, membership sites, ebooks etc, AS WELL AS teaching you how to creatively approach and recognize opportunities online - no matter where they hide.

That’s funny that MySilentTeam members get the revision RIGHT now, and others who bought your book don’t lol. So the implication is that the revised edition is ready but most of us will get it when you feel like giving it to us—wow I’d say that’s an interesting way to get people to join your MySilentTeam membership site, and it’s a little mean and unfair. But it’s your book so you get to call the shots.

It won’t be long though - we are just tidying up the sales page etc. It’s more a matter of my schedule being so busy - I meant to have it to you by now! Didn’t intend for there to be such a gap between MST members getting it and everyone else that bought it in the past getting it.
