Twitter contests and RULES?

A few months ago I told you about the site twitter.com.

It’s quite addictive and a great way to communicate with friends.

Now I’ve added some incentive for you to “follow me” on twitter.

Every THURSDAY I’ll be posting a trivia question to my twitter account. Sometime between early morning and late evening I’ll post a question and the first person to reply with the correct answer gets a prize.

HINT: Did you know you can even set Twitter to send messages to your cell phone?

The trivia question prizes will vary from MySilentTeam.com membership passes (or fee waivers for members) to copies of my book on CD etc. We’ll mix it up and have some fun with it.

The Twitter Trivia rules:

Answer must be in the form of a full sentence statement and placed on twitter. For example. If I ask “Who is the current president of the U.S.?”, the correct answer isn’t “Bush”. The correct answer would be, “George Bush is the current president of the U.S.” I do this so that others reading our twitter posts get some idea of what we are talking about.

First correct answer, or most creative answer wins. I decide.

In the event of controversy I probably won’t care. Stop your whining.

Post your answer directly on twitter. Don’t reply to me privately. I don’t count private replies. If you follow me I’ll follow you (eventually).

If you are following me and I’m not following you yet…please be patient. I’ll get to you. There’s always next week.

Prizes will vary from lame to very cool. My discretion.

If I post more than one question ANSWER EACH QUESTION IN A SEPARATE TWITTER POST.

I plan to do some SHAMELESS self promotion in this contest, but we’ll also have questions that test your trivia skills.

Rules can change and I won’t necessarily let you know about it.
