Here’s an exercise.
Get a pen and paper and do this right now - it will take you about 30 seconds. If you are bad at math grab a calculator.
First, write down your desired annual income.
Next divide your desired annual income by 52 (the number of weeks in a year).
Now divide the resulting number by the number of hours you want to work weekly (on average).
The number you get is your desired “Hourly Worth”.
Find a nice clean 3X5 Card and hang that dollar figure somewhere.
Any task you are “working on” that isn’t getting you closer to your “Hourly Worth” goal is a task that you should either:
o Stop doing as soon as possible
or
o Outsource to someone else
or
o Stop calling it “work” if it’s a hobby or habit
My number is $700.
If someone wants an hour of my time these days that’s also the price.
This is why I’m so interested in “multiple-income-streams” that I can launch and forget.
It’s getting harder and harder for example for me to justify working on answering tech support emails of any kind (or nearly any email for that matter). I don’t make my own bank deposits, mow my own lawn, or even do the majority of work associated with my eBay business.
All those jobs are outsourced because that’s not $700 per hour work.
Time is a precious commodity that becomes more valuable as you become more financially successful. At the point you stop recognizing that fact you’ve just stopped your progress and can slip into the “too many hours” per week trap.
Are people really paying me as much as $700 per hour? Yes they are…and much more in some cases.
The recent auction on eBay (item number 350113012276 on eBay U.S.) where I sold a few hours of my time to the highest bidder for $9,100 is a good example.
What opportunities are there for YOU that can possibly meet these kinds of goals?
That’s what this newsletter is all about! I use the same ideas I teach.
I employ friends and “far away strangers” to help me run my business doing the same stuff I’m telling you about.
It’s also why I’ve poured so much time and energy into websites like these for you:

Those are all places you can go to learn to THINK CORRECTLY about your business success and start making your “Hourly Worth” goals a reality.
