Are you new to the idea of making money online? Listen up!

Do you feel new to all of this “Internet business” stuff?

Not sure if you can make this work?

Not even sure what questions to ask?

Is anyone there to help you get going?

Listen to this short audio message and then leave me a comment using the link below.

I’d love to teach you more about “affiliate marketing” and the other “building block” concepts of online success.

Do I know what I’m talking about?

I’ve got a decade of evidence I could show you, but check this chart out…it’s a recent affiliate marketing contest that I’m wining with several other big name online marketers playing catch up…

proof of recent affiliate marketing success

If enough people express an interest I’m leaning towards doing this as a phone in class at N0 CHARGE. I need your opinion though…would you listen in? Would you participate? Would you be willing to pay to keep the class smaller?

Please, leave your comment below!

I'm retired and trying to bring in some walking around money. I'm a photographer and thinking of the easiest way to sell my photos.

I have used photo sharing programs, but do know which way to turn to push myself to the next level. I'm tired of all of these so-called Launches with terribly long copy. I like the KISS formula, and of course I have followed you many year. So what can we do for each other. God Bless, Joe

Heh Jim i luv what you do and would want to be a part of any class you teach .For the past 30 days i have implemented your guidance with animoto and traffic geyser and my clients love the results it brings .I am thinking about putting together a hands on training course using those two tools .The program would be perfect for Joe the photographer, who left the last email

Kindest Regards and one of your biggest fans!

Jim, I have experienced this "coaching" first hand an d found that there are so many different levels of experience that would apply for this. An evaluation of each persons experience should be made. A separate "class" for each level would do more for the attendees rather than over 1/2 getting frustrated by either not grasping what is taught or skimmed over. A minor thing like uploading to your hosting account is a major task for some. Simple daily tasks to learn and implement with a an outlet for help when they get stuck on a problem. FAQ's are not the solution for a newbie.

    Thanks

    Bob

I think step by step training is key. Also, recorded audios are preferable so you can refer back, rewind, etc. Videos are good and sometimes necessary as long as they are not overly long.

    thanks!

    Jim

I'd love the opportunity to attend some calls

    Monday's are good!

Subjects: how to pick the right market segment (niche); using ebay classifieds for product or affiliate program; using video to help sell your product or service. I'm sure you have many more ideas.

Keep up the good work and blessings to our success.

Hi we spoke before on the phone. I am interested in using internet marketing for my current business as well as creating "NEW" income streams. I have started outsourcing for my current business and I do have more free time. I do need other streams that I need to develop and need your help!

    Thanks

    Joe

Hi Jim: I am VERY interested in your proposed phone consulting. I have a couple of adsense sites that need more focused attention and a couple of ebooks unfinished, so I'm looking for some help to get over the "hump" of making money with affiliate and info product marketing. You have a proven track record and I need to follow your process to get started. Thanks for the chance.

  • http://www.teawomennetwork.com Ellen S.

I've bought so many programs and think I understand most of the terms you mentioned. However, I've had a lot of issues with implementation. I need help and would like to join a program that's offered regularly, doesn't cost an arm and a leg and where the instructor and group ask for progress reports. I'm not sure how much to say I'd pay as my finances are not good at the moment, but I can decide if I can afford it when you offer it. I like teleseminars a lot and now find video an excellent learning tool. Reading something and then trying to implement doesn't work as well for me. I'm quite interested in affiliate marketing right now and I would also like to learn more about how I can effectively outsource. Your call with John Jonas was a wake up call for me, but I'm still trying to deal with how to do it without being technological sophisticated.

With regards to pricing and making sure that people don't get lost or bored with the courses, maybe you could set up some sort of IM online college. Have basic courses that the absolute newbie could get started with (at lower prices), then have advanced courses that go into specific IM strategies.

My personal preference is to have both video & text available – I'm a visual learner & just can't absorb anything from audio clips alone.

    Hi Jim,

Here's the picture: I'm 62, lost my job in Dec. '07, have applied for over 300 jobs since and could not even get hired as a pizza delivery guy (overqualified). Been married 32 years and buying the house we've been in for the last 25 years. The house is in foreclosure, all our credit cards are in collection, and I am desperate. I've purchased a few online courses to make a living on the net (including Silent Sales Machine) and I have never followed through with any of them because I'm not a 'self-starter' although I was self employed for over 20 years.(sounds like a contradiction in terms, but in all my years of 'self-employment', I had mentors and support along the way that were there to tell me what to do next) I've always ran into a 'snag' with all these online money making programs and had no one-on-one support to get past the snag.(or the time to find the answers – remember I've been looking for a job full-time) I am now considering purchasing the Mini-site-Formula (which is over 10% of my monthly income) AND I would jump at the chance of getting a step by step "how to" from you – after two years of your newsletter I can truthfully say "I Trust You." I have admitted to myself that I need support if I want to succeed. (I'm old enough to know I need help) I would definitely join a coaching group of yours and willing to pay $100 a month, with the understanding that 1) I would be glad to return a percentage of earnings to you or a charity of your choice when I get established with a sustainable income. 2) It takes the form of a step-by-step ABC formula AND we are held accountable to take action or not be allowed to continue in the group and 3) Be able to share our new found knowledge with others so we can help them succeed as well. I understand most all the terms on your list, but as you said, not well enough to put them to work to earn an income. I would also prefer a phone call format instead of a video on the net. (I'm still on a dial-up connection and it takes forever to download video's) Thanks for your offer and the sincere desire to help others. I appreciate you and what you've done by sharing your knowledge. 10000000 Blessings,

    Bob

    Hi Jim,

I have been receiving your emails for quite some time now and I also have purchased "The Silent Sales Machine". I have never done anything with it though because all this is new to me and I really don't understand it. I would love it if you would have a class. I could pay a small fee (even though I feel this class warrants a larger fee but my husband is laid off (9th time in 9 years).I would not be able to do this for about 3 weeks a/c I am having total knee replacement surgery tomorrow. I hope this works out and you do the class. Thanks so much for all that you do in sharing your knowledge. Jennifer

  • steve jajczyk

    Hi Jim,

Your email came at a good time. I swear you were reading my mind.

When you offered your recent course you and I were talking, but I couldn't come up with the money at that time. (Kentucky is a tough place to make an income). I am so glad that you are considering teaching a class again. Certainly count me in. If I remember correctly, I think you put me on a waiting list.I definitely want to implement multiple streams of income.

I just started on Ebay and that is working fine so far. But I want to do so much more.

I've been watching your career develop over the past years and you would be a person I would trust to teach me

I like your no-hype "get rich quick" approach to business.

So again, COUNT me in for your classes.

I would prefer the classes live and recorded for review.

As far as cost, my preference would be on a monthly basis perhaps starting at $200 per month of whatever would be fair to you.

    What do you think?

    Regards,

    steve Jajczyk

  • http://DBPlattBooks.com Donna

    Jim,

Thank you for such a wonderful offer. I really appreciate all that you do and hope that you will offer a class/coaching program. I agree with the commenter above that some of us are more advanced in IM than others. I'm pretty new to all this and fully understand what it means when they say something can be done in five minutes and it takes me many hours. I love the live calls but would hope they can be copied/archived for us. There will always be someone who is unavailable for a phone call, but would be able to hear or view an audio or video recording later. My finances are limited because my income has been reduced in my eBay business with the depressed economy, which is why I'm looking for other avenues for income. Please let me know if or when you decide to do this. I'm very interested.

  • http://www.jj-kelly.com john kelly

Jim, you have an American accent that is easy to listen to, so phone calls would be great, but to me a step by step video series is the ultimate training method. As you say there are so many opportunities within each method of internet selling, so it would have to be a very specific subject that you teach on. Free would be great, but I know that's not going to happen, for all sorts of reasons, not least the value that is placed on the knowledge by you and the buyer.

    ciao jj

PS your blog is highly recommended. I wrote about 'Shiny Object' collection in my blog at http://www.jj-kelly.com

  • Nancy

Hi. I'm planning on signing up for at least one of your membership sites in April. I would love for you to have a training call. I'm a member of several forums right re: IM, and am kind of confused, to say the least. I'm searching for the best route to take.

  • Stacey

I love the university idea, but think that may be more elablorate than what you had originally planned. I would love teh chance to network and find some people that I would be able to ask questions of later as I ran into things. I am a total newbie!

  • Alexis

Yes, Jim, I think this would be great. I personally would benefit from this type of class. You are so experienced, have tons of info, you are honest, I trust that you would be great teaching what you know. In my opinion training online videos would be good but also, once in a while conference calls would be awesome. I need to start this online business, I have your book and did sales on eBay, I am familiar with all of the terms you have mentioned above, it does not scare me but would like someone to show me what to do, where to get started. The charge for this? Hm! Maybe a minimal fee added to your Silent Team membership? For those who do not have the paid membership $29.95/mo – maybe? Alex.

  • Jason

    Hey Jim,

I would love and greatly need to spend some time with you learning internet marketing. I am quite familiar with all of the terms you listed, but I 'm kind of like one of the previous people who commented that tI have trouble implementing the ideas. I am very commited to making this work. I will learn how to make a living at IM! I too amshy on money at the current time with the economy the way it is and all and a family to take care of. All the more reason I am determined to learn this and be successful at it. You have been sending me emails for awhile now and I am always very interested in what you have to say. Phone consults for question and answer and videos would be awesome. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

    All THe Best,

    Jason

    Hi Jim,

I too have a depressing story but I will spare everyone the details as it really does no good to even think about IMO. ;)

As a MST member for over a year now I think this would be a great thing for you to do. Your last class you offered a few months back was just to steep for me but often wonder how I would be doing today had I took it but as they say "it is what it is" and it done and over. Any knowledge your willing to share then I am interested in learning more, I think a very low cost or even FREE class would perhaps in the long run would bring you even more paying customers in the future. Think about it. Thanks!

    Jim,

Love the audio, video's and the newsletter.

I personally like the step-by-step video product. I follow right along and start and stop the video as I due the skill.

I am not sure if you know this but John Thornhill is doing this very thing right now to a group of us at johnthornhillmasterclass.com I am sure if you have not already he would let you in to see how he is doing it.

Both you and him are great at this biz and I am on the edge of my chair waiting for my email to go off with your weekly updates.

    Hi Jim,

Are you saying that "BANS" is a bad idea as you can have any number of website on the same host.

    Vin

[reply from Jim]: I'm not saying BANS is a bad idea, I'm saying that you should spread out your risk when setting up multiple websites. Just because you CAN have a bunch of sites on one host doesn't mean you should put ALL of your sites on one host.

  • Wayne

    Hi Jim,

I would love the opportunity to get in on some coaching with you. Audio is great but video is probably needed for some things. I like to be able to download audio and listen many times – more time available away from a computer.

You already know that your ideas have made me alot of $$ and I am so pleasantly suprised to hear that you are doing something like this – I am looking to add more income streams.

    Thanks again Jim!

How about a class that does something like Joel's mini-site course (only more oversite – and I don't mean 'charge me $47/mo to toss me a video once a week or a forum where everyone is a newbie)? How about a class that shows the whole picture about a course like Joel's mini-site course. How about a course that shows us how to outsource to the phillipines without having to pay $97 per month? How about something on datafeedr?? $97 per month and I have no clue how to use it or even what to ask their support. I am frustrated by the 14 page sales pitch that gets you a few videos and an upsell

  • Maciej

I would be quite interested listening to you or attending the classes however I am living in the UK so it is different time zone.

Sounds good, but money is tight! Keep it cheap or I am out.

  • http://www.silent-sales-machine.org Joseph

Think a tele-class would be a great idea. Or perhaps it could be done through some recorded audios with maybe a live Q & A phone session every so often.

Personally, my biggest question or challenge right now is to put together a step-by-step traffic generating game plan. Which tactics to start with, and how much of them to do, and then what other tactics to add in maybe a month down the road, etc…

As far as price, it would have to be fairly economical. You could probably do the audio set-up as a free or very low cost, and maybe a number of tele-classes at a little bit higher rate.

    Jim,

I think it's a great idea to do this, but my question would have to be why? Isn't that the whole point of having membership with the MySilentTeam? Or would this be something entirely different from that? I am pretty confused about why you would do this if that's what the membership site is already supposedly doing—what would be the difference?

  • http://www.getagriphandbbags.com David Stewart

Wow, you sure got a lot of feedback. I didn't read it in detail so I apologize if this is some duplication. And in essence I am going to recommend what I considered to do when I make any significant money in these efforts. That time may be soon, but let me be frank, as you probably want me to be.

You can see from these responses, people are desperate in many ways. They want to make this work so bad, they want to have some success, just to show they can do this! I am no different. Whether by design or by error no one has really hit the mark in their training, in my opinion and I have bought and read many programs and read about many others so I speak from some experience. There was only one item in that list that maybe think, so I have done a lot of reading.

So let me get to the point. If people are like me and I am sure many are, what they want is simple. And someone can make a lot of money with a product that will actually deliver what they want. Niche blueprint almost hit the nail but I think they missed some key parts. Anyhow let me make the points.

    1. A program that will finish with a concrete result.

    2. A program that focuses on one of the items in your list, or one with the related strategies but not too many at once.

    3. A program that will have the participants developing common products and as a group the products can be seen by members for suggestions and critiques and other help.

    4. A structured system that participants are all at the same point each stage.

    5. Ongoing open support by experts.

    6. RESULTS after its all over of the participants effort. A review of those and why they succeed or fail.

This is high level but I think this is what people want so if you did this with a closed group, I believe a course on that experience would be a benefit to many.

    Best Regards,

    Dave Stewart

PS – my niche blueprint site is listed above, not complete but soon I hope

In the previous post, I mentioned I hate "cold calling". Please let me clarify that what I learned I love is to chat with folks, and build up rapport, before mentioning a service or product.

Hi Jim, I have been recieving your e.mails for sometime now. And you are a really incredible guy. I live in England u.k. And we have a similar fellow doing what you do here. I understand that you could charge what you wanted for your services. But for me trust is paramount! Some of us my friend cannot hardly afford to pay for a lengthy phonecall do you think this leaves us behind in your scheme of teachings.

[[reply from Jim]]: If you sign up for skype.com you can dial in for pennies per minute. Call anywhere in the world really VERY inexpensively.

Jim, I bought your SSM book in late 2002 or early 2003 (when it was only about 50 pages) and have been getting your newsletter ever since. I appreciate the way you speak in terms everyone can understand, and I wish I would have implemented many of your ideas long ago. I have seen your popularity grow and I know you deserve it because your not out there thinking of only yourself, I truly think you care about helping people that are willing to help themselves. I don't know how much I could afford but I would certainly be willing to take part in any course you offer.

    Best regards, Kevin

I would like to see more ideas on how to combine video marketing with clickbank and CPA networks to increase online sales.

    Thanks

  • Annie Haselwood

I would love to start with the free phone-in lesson and branch out from there. I learn best with step-by-step instructions. My biggest interest right now is affiliate classified advertising and using YouTube to market. I love the Animoto program. Thanks for the guidance you and MST offer.

  • Doug Renz

    Hi Jim,

I have been on your email list for many years and was at one time a member of MST for about 8 months. I was very discouraged early last year when it seemed eBay was changing their rules every week it seemed.

I can honestly say that last year was challenging for me to make internet marketing really work. I tried many of the techniques and ideas taught and nothing seemed to ever work for me. Not sure why. A class like this might be good to figure out what specifially I can make work and bring in money. I have considered starting up again. Many of the terms you listed I understand, but don't know how to make them all work to bring an INCOME.

I introduced your SSM book to my 13 year old son and he want's to learn some of these concepts so I would be learning together with him. Honestly, finances are tough these times, but if you can honesly help me figure out what can work and help me make an income I would participate and commit to, as long as the price is not an "arm and a leg"… as a father of 7 children, (you having 5 of your own), you understand how family comes first and I won't go into great debt if it doesn't work.

    Jim,

I think your idea, as most all your ideas, is a fabulous one. I would love to be in a "class", however with 2 boys in college right now and all the other things going on my funds are very limited and most are spoken for before I get them. :) Anyway, I love the idea and I'd be more interested in a video type arrangement… maybe a WebEx type "class" if I could afford to attend. I'm a fellow hoosier and dream of one day following in your multi-streams of income footsteps.

thank you for a GREAT newsletter!

  • Tom

    Hey Jim,

Thanks for the thoughtful post. What I need is help with outsourcing. I've been to your partner's site replacemyself.com and it's great. But, I have no interest in hiring someone myself.

I was in the corporate world and, for a few years, I had to hire people on behalf of my company…let's just say I don't look forward to doing that in my online business.

    Hey, I've got an idea for your next membership site. It could be called wewilldoitforyou.com. It could be a closed freelance site where you offer your members (on behalf of their clients) website creation/design, data base management, copywriting etc; etc;

If you are using a Filapino workforce you could charge the site's members a 200% – 500% markup (or whatever you think is worthwhile and reasonable) and the members could turn around and charge their clients a fair markup considering the going rates in North America (or Europe etc;).

Something like this would really help the members of offlinebiz.com, mysilientteam.com and readers of this newsletter.

Jim, whether you know it or not you have a one-man-brand. I think the Jim Cockrum brand connotes honesty, integrity and a sincere desire to help others achieve what you have achieved.

If you married this brand with a closed freelance site well…I think it would be another huge success for you. I know I'd be one of your first sign ups :)

I hope you read this post and seriously consider this. I have searched all of the freelance sites and they all have something to offer but none of them offer unquestionable quality and integrity at a real bargain price.

Thanks for help and inspiration Jim.

    Tom.

  • http://hillbillydirect.com Jeromy

    Hey Jim,

I have been 'in' the Internet/affiliate marketing industry for quite some time now and I amassed a huge amount of knowledge on everything Internet/affiliate marketing. I have made some money, but have currently become trapped in somewhat of a rutt. I know I can get it going somehow or other. But what I now find interesting is the thought that I currently have much of the theory of a Millionaire Affiliate marketer, my challenge, as I would guess is that of many, is the effective application of that theory.

Perhaps a 'mastermind' such as that available through MST, would be effective. To provide structure and discipline/support, modules that run in some structured frequency (so students go through at the same time) would be very valuable. This could then be tied into a specific section within a forum that students can reference to. This would be a great addition to MST :-)

I think this probably one of the biggest challenges, choosing and applying an Internet Marketing business, till its profitable.

    Regards,

    Jeromy

    Hi Jim,

I have been trying for months to earn from Affiliate Marketing and have yet to make my first cent so the training would be very welcome.

Unfortunately I lost my job about a year ago and been trying to make money on the internet very unsuccessfully so cost would bean important factor for me.

A step bt step video presentation would be great showing the concepts and then a detailed explanation of how to actually do the necessary tasks to achieve a positive result.

Look forward to hearing from you.
