Are you new to the idea of making money online? Listen up!

Do you feel new to all of this “Internet business” stuff?

Not sure if you can make this work?

Not even sure what questions to ask?

Is anyone there to help you get going?

Listen to this short audio message and then leave me a comment using the link below.

I’d love to teach you more about “affiliate marketing” and the other “building block” concepts of online success.

Do I know what I’m talking about?

I’ve got a decade of evidence I could show you, but check this chart out…it’s a recent affiliate marketing contest that I’m wining with several other big name online marketers playing catch up…

proof of recent affiliate marketing success

If enough people express an interest I’m leaning towards doing this as a phone in class at N0 CHARGE. I need your opinion though…would you listen in? Would you participate? Would you be willing to pay to keep the class smaller?

Please, leave your comment below!

I, like just about everyone else who has posted a comment would love to learn how to make money online. It's a bit like the chicken and egg syndrome, you need money to learn how to make money online. What a breadth of fresh air if something was free.

I,like the above contributors are desperate to be successful but all the so called "guru's" don't tell you everything, it's always up your monthly payments or buy this software for thr next stage.

I am a member of MST and I read all your newletters. I have learned more from you than any other source. I trust you and have had some success implementing your ideas. I would be interested in any tutorial method you offer. Finances are tight for our family, too. I am wanting to purchase the mini site formula and the Jonas outsourcing product, but am waiting until I can scrape together the funds.

    Jim,

I've been trying to take in all I can about this stuff for some time. My wife and I have been trying to get by on unemployment for many months. I agree with Richard on the previous blog. My ability to afford much at this time is limited. I also would like to see something that takes you through the process step by step, with the ability to review it. One of my first questions is "What to sell?" Is that newbie enough?

    Thanks for all you do!

Great idea Jim. I think it would be a win win…even you can get ideas from our ideas then we can cultivate them.

  • CARL

    Hi Jim,

I suggest that you take 3 groups beginners,

intermediate, advance. Start a webinar once a week with a maximum class size of 200-300 charge $30.00 per month, give a choice to members of a topic an run the class for at least 3 months then move to intermediate and so forth. Start the class for novice, and move on up to advance.

    My ideas,

Oh, I would sound like Jolie above (just one above). Funds are terribly tight right now, although that could change within a week, as I have several proposals pending. At this point, anything inexpensive but with high return potential would help.

    George.

What I am feeling, as well as most of the others reading this, is that I would like to make some extra money. It may be a steady income or a few thousand a month or five figures a year. Most of us are skeptical of these offers or short on cash or both. Why not make this a partnership where you take, say, 50% of the profits until you collect your fee (let's say $2000). That way we can "pay as we go" and no matter what the goals are we are both taking in the income, no front-end expense from the student and the faster, more successful incomes will pay off the "consulting fee" sooner. This gives incentive on both sides.

Hi Jim, you have got to be the most compassionate human being on this planet earth. Thank you for helping us all. As far as my needs are concerned, well, it's in all the 52 comments mentioned above. I will take any of your classes.

    Kindest regards,

    Hey Jim;

I have been learning from you for quite a while and have been involved with many others for education. Wasn't supposed to be, but was.

I did write an ebook and the very week I completed it and put it on clickbank and got a 'Classified Ad" ebay changed the e-download rules.

Lately I have been working on your last 'Video' to use a "Forward" website and am getting ready to do this with affiliate products.

At 66 I am a little slow understanding and have been bitten enough to take a more cautious approach and my old computer is only a 533 hz so a lot of 'Hi speed' things don't work well.

One comment about "phone" consulting. I live out in rural central Indiana and we are 'long distance' to about everywhere.

Can this also be done via email, or videos?

    Keep up the good work.

I am one of the many who appreciate what you do and would like to imulate you and your money making.

I'll bet you there a thousands of poor frustrated people like me. I feel like I am in a huge sink hole and swirling around and there are all these people asking for a dollar to toss the rope in to save me. But when I finally dig up the money and toss it up they throw the rope in and when I pull on it it falls in on top of me. When I yell hey what the heck, From somewhere up above they yell down ' Oh I only had the rope, it's $5 to attach it to the tree. And later, when I say I can't pull myself up, "it's $100 to hire someone to pull you up!"

As a homeschooling mom who also manages apartments, my plate is full. Yet, I'm interested in mulitple streams of income and using the internet for that purpose. (Looking ahead 1 1/2 yr to graduating my last student) I've sold on ebay, half.con and etsy. I only get to dabble in this a little here, a little there. So for me something recorded, or video would be best. Step by step would also be helpful. In terms of payment, at this time I'm gleaning what I can. To pay a large sum or subscription fee would be a deterant to me due to my limited time to apply the info. Perhaps a few basics for free, and other things in groups of 1 – 3 topics for a small fee. Then I could pick topics I'd most likely be able to use.

    Thanks

Since I live in the Netherlands phone in classes wouldn't be my preference because of the time difference.Audio and/or video by Jim – with your nice voice – would be a fantastic help. On the other hand there are several packages how to do IM for sale in the market, that claim to be complete.(I bought several of them…….) Nevertheless I am always inspired by Jim's audio's.Maybe you could just continue to give good tips?

    Thanks.

  • Doug

Heck Yes Jim, I'd like to participate. You have given me many great ideas that allow me to earn my living from my internet businesses and I would love to create more streams of income. I haven't tried affiliate income yet and I'd like to. Thanks.

Sign me up!! I am tired of having a boss. The new boss needs to be me. The way the economy and the new administration is moving, the only way left to make good money is the internet.

I think the ideal of you showing people to set up these programs is the greatest ideal ever,i know i will be glad to get in at a price that will fit my budget like 29.95 a month with that i stick around maybe a year or two.

  • CARL

    Hello Jim,

In response to a phone in class, I agree, I think starting off for free is good, however

If we could get say 200 paying a small fee monthly we could spread the cost out between

several people. I think people understand that to get quality info that could make them money is worth investing into.

This credit crunch has hit up bad we have lost our whole share portfolio and we are in considerable debt. I have started a web page doing affiliate marketing but it is not earning anything. Have started working on ways to make money with ebay, have set up a store. Just feel a bit lost need some guidence and a step by step guide. I tend to jump around from idea to idea and then nothing happens. Need help willing to learn. Hope you can have a look at my web page. Thanks very much

    Hi Jim,

I am from Stockton, CA. I purchased your great book Silent Sales Machine!!! I have been a subscriber for over 2 years now. I tried to build a website by following text and failed. I copied some still pictures that landed all over the page with no real form, it was a mess. I prefer videos. I purchased a product to run on its own and found out I needed a hosting server, which I did not know what that was then and didn't have one. I have to say that I have not made it to the newbie level as of yet. When I received your email I was really touched by you reaching out to all of us in this time of need. I have exhausted my unemployment benefits and am losing my home. I am very interested in a class. I know I can do this, just show me how. Give a man a fish and you feed him for life, teach a man to fish and he can feed himself for life. Thank you for your continued efforts to reach out to help and to teach. Sign me up. God Bless You

Well Jim, I dont know what else I could add that Bob,Jennifer T, and the rest haven't already mentioned. I dont know that much about affiliate marketing although I understood and have heard of all the terms you mentioned. I'm green to this EBAY form of making a living but I'm hungry to create multiple streams of income. I am 53 and my wife and I are sick of aquisitions, mergers, unemployment and reduce disposable incomes we have faced the past 30 yrs. I sick of corporate America, AIG and their bonuses, and bailouts. I'm hungry to create my own business and control my own financial life. But I dont have a clue how on EBAY. Bought your Silent Sales Machine book–simply incredible! Would really love to attend classes, be able to converse live to a coach, have that coach track my progress and consistently input suggestions, ideas. I love brainstorming and live group sessions are the way to do it. You know I think the cost of this training to me and everyone on this comment session depends on what can be APPLIED that actually works. I'm confident every person on here would pay $200 or $2000 a mo. if they can be taught to make that kind of money. I would love to see someone step out and ACTUALLY show or train clients on EXACTLY how they make money. Can you imagine having 50 people or so being taught and apply the knowledge with hands on coaching and ACTUALLY make MONEY, good MONEY what those 50 people could do to YOUR bottom line? The best selling tool in the world is word of mouth. Teach a man to fish and he will SUCCESFULLY and he teaches others who teach others an on throughout his/her whole community ! And if YOUR the only bait shop in town, well there it is! I'll join you my friend.

Take care GOD Bless you and yours

I'd be very interested in taking part. I have a good general understanding of the concepts of internet marketing and the terms you brought up. Where my knowledge stops is how to put it all together, and getting started. A good road map would be very helpful.

I was laid off a couple of weeks ago and really have no desire to go back to the 9-5 day job routine again. I want to take advantage of my current situation and make something positive come out of it.

    Thanks

Jim: Like so many of the comments, I need a kick in the butt to get started. I've been reading your newsletter on and off for some time now but don't have the confidence to get started.(Major Newbie!) Your classes would be a excellent start for me. I'm a business owner, so I know what it takes to succeed. WORK! Timing is everything and NOW is the time for me. I'd be able to start something in mid March. Any kind of response from you would help. Keep up the good work and God Bless.

Jim: First let me say I am a real newbie (started 1-1-09)to Internet marketing. Like so many people before me your ideas and associations have really accelerated my learning curve so I must thank you. With no knowledge I was completely spinning my wheels and was getting nowhere. Since being directed to your information, I have started the mini site concept and I am using this and other ideas both mine and yours to slowly start my income stream. My biggest challenge at this time is knowing what ideas and projects to start. I feel I need to master a few at a time and as I gain more and more knowledge I can then add to my multiple income streams. I am confident that your tutoring would be in invaluable. As to the the cost, as has been said money is important but knowledge is gold.

    Thanks for your consideration

    Bill

I am interested! I don't even have a web site yet, however I have been doing lots of research with a view to going into ebay with drop shippers or having a multi task web site of my own, all these things I have to decide. So keep my posted. Thanks. I have participated in Webinars and really enjoy them. Perhaps that is the way to go.

    Hey Jim,

I know my comment is late but I just wanted to add my thoughts, plus my thanks. I am a stay at home mom of an 18-month-old toddler and I suffer from a very painful chronic illness, so working a 8-5 job (or 7am-7pm nursing shift) is out of the question for me right now. I bought your ebook "Silent Sales Machine" and it gave me hope that I really CAN make a nice income working from home. I am familiar with eBay so I am going to start there, but I am also very interested in niche affiliate marketing and tapping into the niche markets on ebay (and in other creative ways). I would love to join MySilentTeam.com but that will have to wait until I earn some money. Also, Jim, I would love to be part of a live class, whether it's a live call or a combo of live call plus video, I think it will be brilliant. Thank you for giving this down-and-out, sick, stay-at-home mom some hope. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    Hi Jim,

I would prefer step-by-step instructions and videos. However, whatever method could keep the cost down to a minimum or even free is the best choice for me at least starting out until I can generate some online income.

Some topics of interest are finding niche markets and generating free traffic.

I've just read every comment on here and I have to say I'm gutted. So many people, with so many problems who are (mostly) kept going on hope, dreams and sheer determination to make better lives for themselves.

I'm just going to be blunt about this (I'm a Scot, it's genetic trait lol). If you truly want to help complete newbies then it'll have to be step-by-step, bite size and FREE.

I'm sure most of them are as sick as the rest of us when it comes to hype, the next big thing, half stories, incomplete explanations etc etc etc.

Robin (reply 60) put it perfectly. It's not that people don't appreciate the value of what is offered, or that they're not prepared to invest in themselves/their business. It's quite simply that they DO NOT have the means. Sure some will find the means because they're still HOPING for that hand up but when they do, they take food out of their mouths, put themselves deeper in debt and make not just themselves but their families do without. And that's the bottom line. Until some of the so called "gurus" and "mentors" start helping out (without the huge price tags and monthly subscription requests) that 98% failure rate is never going to change.

Apologies for ranting but this is my biggest gripe with IM. A small number of people making money hand over fist and taking pure advantage of anyone new to the business. I'm not aiming that at you personally by the way, just to be clear but please, please listen to what they've all said.

For myself, I'm lucky enough to be making money and past the newbie stage. No, I'm not rich and like everyone else am always keen to learn more. I'm pretty much self taught, have been running my Ebay business since 2001 (in a rather pottering kind of way lol) but doing ok with it, particularly since stumbling across John Thornhill who was a god send. I got into IM about 8 months ago and just thank the Lord that I had the "computer" and "techie" knowledge already to give myself at least a head start.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing what you have to teach as I've been impressed by your emails and with the offline biz site (even as a free member). I prefer video or audio training. Being in the UK I find everything is always on US time, which is totally inconvenient if understandable.

Look forward to seeing what you eventually decide to do with this anyway and wish you (and all the others who have replied) the best of luck.

  • Dennis

Hey Jim! I missed your call for the class you are currently running to train people for on-line marketing. While your idea of FREE is nice, for me it would probably work best in a recorded call that can be replayed & perhaps video. As to price, you've proven yourself fair so I will leave that decision to you. Thanks for considering my input. Best………. Dennis

  • Rhonda

    Hi Jim,

I am a newbie and subscribe to your newsletter, but when trying to implement some of the ideas, run into road blocks. I have had more success on Amazon than ebay, but listing is easier, but Ebay is a lot less restrictive to the items that may be listed. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. I feel that taped audio & conference calls would be great. I keep starting new projects and not really focusing on one thing and nothing gets accomplished. I am on a very tight budget and looking for ways to make money without a lot of investment and as my biz grows I can reinvest to grow even further. This is the answer to my prayers. Thanks for thinking of the little people and remembering when you first started. I am a single mom looking for alternate income streams aside from the 9-5 to ultimately be a stay at home mom for my 8 year old and be able to pass on the earning income from home biz to her one day and help others like me at my church and online like you have done. Thanks for all you do!

  • Stephen

    Hi Jim,

Thanks for the information you provide via your newsletter.

I am certainly interested in learning to make a 2nd and hopefully primary income from my home as most are that have left comments.

The trick for me is not so much niche selection but proven ways to drive traffic to a website for low cost to test marketing strategies, landing pages, headlines..etc

I think testing is the key to this and once you know what your niche will respond to things can get much easier.

Also, I try to study what all the IM gurus do not what they say. I for one have noticed that building an email list for a responsive niche market is HUGE. If you can build a list–give them great content and build the relationship–you're on your way to a strong income. Isn't this what you do??

Regarding marketing methods–I'm really gun shy toward PPC. I'm thinking you can lose your shirt using PPC if you don't know what you are doing. Also PPC is incredibly expensive for most markets now. Some click prices can be $3 to $4 dollars per click.–Better know your sending people to a landing page that converts at those prices!!

I'd like to learn less costly ways to start marketing on the internet. Video, Audio–perphaps video affiliate marketing sites.

Certainly interested in a class if you offer it. I think teaching both step by step and theory is important. Recording the classes so those who miss can view later would be very useful.

    Thanks again

  • Gina

Tell me this is stuff I'll learn by joining your team, and I'm IN!!!

    Hi Jim,

I'm preparing to retire June 2010 and would love to benefit from your knowledge of earnings from internet marketing. The terms you mentioned are mostly new to me and I would be interested in a class for this training. I'm not sure what the fee would be but I would do my best to be able to afford it. Thanks and I look forward to hearing the results of this.

    Hi Jim

I am very interested to be part of this proposed info session/ training on those various terminology about internet marketing. About 3 years ago I dabbled in a PPC affiliate mktg, but somehow I got sidetracked and lost interest on it. But now am in a different situation and need to get serious in online business. Cheers!

    Hi,

I enjoyed the April 9 session. I listened to the recorded transcript. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to more. Let me say that this first session was informative in that you and your panel confirmed that money can be made on the internet, and particularly eBay. However, your session totally lacked meat. That is, you advertised very heavily about your MySilentTeam and the fact that you are very successful, and some of your panel are successful. But no meat or even a hint as to how to actually make any money, other than to join MySilentTeam, or that eBay is still a great opportunity. Let me take something back that I just said. There was one morsel that you mentioned, and that is that the "About Me" part of eBay can be used to begin to build a mailing list. Other than that, the 70 plus minutes was mostly an advertisement. I say all this, because I think that you are the kind of guy who can give more, if you publicly say that you are going to actually give something out for free. Unless this first session was basically an intro and a first experiment, I personally consider it mainly an infomercial that lacked any real meat. That being said, I do think that your MySilentTeam does offer solid value for the money, even though I have not joined yet, and I probably soon will, after I straighten up some personal entanglements that urgently need straightening. Keeping it all real. Don
