This was an AWESOME call. There were several MySilentTeam.com members on the call with me and hundreds more listening in. I’m pleased with the quality of the recording as well – you never know what you’ll get when recording on the phone with a group! Check it out yourself though. Jim, At first I was very upset! I had invited my right hand man, my 19 year old son to join me on the call. We were unable to get on the call until about 2:30 P.M. due to an error on my part. Anyway, I was totally pleased with the content of the call. The questions asked and answered gave us valuable information to work with over the next 2 weeks and 4 days. I always enjoy hearing you speak on the recorded blogs, so it was an added pleasure to hear from other successful silentteam members about their success.

Just listened to the call and informative and maybe just the push I needed! I’ve been a Silent Team member for quite a while and read and listen to sooo much, but am still just continuing to do my regular eBay selling.
This may be just the thing to get me moving!
Seems Life will always get in the way if I let it, so guess it’s time to put all the great info I get from you and all the wonderful sharing team members to Work!

I have been selling on Ebay for the past 1.5 months and doing fairly well thus far. I first starting selling some old tennis rackets and golf equipment and have expanded by selling my sons bridal accessories which he drop ships for me. I pay him what he normally makes from his retail customers.
Your different ideas on how to make money on Ebay is very stimulating. I am a retired marketing executive with a large public company and find selling on the internet both challenging and fun.
I listened to your conference call on the internet (not live) and think you do an excellent job. I especially appreciate your making this available on the net so that I coul listen to it at my leisure.
Will be considering joining your silent sales team in the future.

I have always enjoyed your material and your site but the I would have liked a transcript of the recording. It is a new phenomena of providing everything as either a video or a mp3 recording and it takes a lot longer to review the material. I know I read a lot faster than most of my family but I do feel sometimes I could get through a lot more without having to listen to introductions chit chat and mutual admiration hypes. Not that you did all of that today. Some times I have to waste 15 minutes listening to a sales pitch when there s no way I could aff ord the product. with written text I can skip to the end and see the price.

[reply from Jim]: A transcript would be great, but hey…it was free! One big problem with transcribing calls like this is that it doesn’t turn out very “readable” when you are done. People tend to speak in run on sentences when talking. It’s hard to read as a transcript from a phone conference. I’d have to have some serious clean up work done on top of the transcription. It’s hard to justify doing all that on a free 80 minute call…Thanks for the suggestion though – I’ll see what I can do and appreciate the feedback.
I just finished listening to your recording. It was awesome it has given me a push in the right direction I am going to join your mysilent team. I am newsletter subscription and I think it by far the most informative newsletter I get and I get a lot. I bought your book and read it couple of years ago but would like to read it again how do I get the update version?
I am a stay at home dad with my twin daughters I have been selling on ebay for a few years but not making much now but I need to really start earning more income out of it because I don’t want to go to work for someone else again. The girls are starting school in September so I have to make a go of this and I think your website and book will be the one to help me.

Just finished listening to the call. I have been selling on Ebay for the last 2 years and doing pretty well, but I have been feeling for a while that it is time to really “step it up”. Your site has given me so many ideas that my head is spinning. I really enjoy listening to you on your audios and these calls. You just “tell it like it is” and make it easy to understand. I would really appreciate more of these phone calls. Maybe pick a couple of ideas from your bonus pool and really go into them into more depth. There are so many ways to do this…. and so little time!! Thanks again!!
I enjoy all the information that you give. I usually download any audio messages that you send out. There is a problem however. I downloaded the audio for this phone recording but it stops after 77 minutes. Is there going to be a part 2 for this call? I would appreciate it if I could hear the whole call. Other than that, keep up the good work. Can’t wait to give you a testimonial of my success someday. Thanks for all that you do.

[reply from Jim]: Is anyone else having trouble? I’ve heard a couple complaints, but it seems most people are getting the file downloaded or are listening in online just fine. One thing I would suggest is that you reboot your computer and try again – sometimes a full cache can interfere with performance. The entire 1 hour 15 minute call is available above for playback online using the play button posted, or for download using the link.
I am unable to hear the recording. There is no “play” button and I don’t have any of the items to play it on. Please help! I want to listen to it:)

jim listened to the conference call and this made up my mind to make you my mentor and follow your advice.I bought silent sale machine have read it once am getting ready to read it again but this time to find questions for bits that are going over my head a bit,as I really want to understand and make sure i am doing you justice with my efforts. I also today signed up to My Silent Team hope your ready for me I will be a frequent visitor on the blog and in the forums,will be using all that is available to me.

I may have been able to be present at the call had it been on skype. I live in the u.k. I did however get to listen to a recording of the call. There where some sound ideas but from what I gather one has to join your silentsalesteam to get to concrete ideas. I did expect to hear a lot more people accounting there successes. Having said that, the most important thing I heard was you repeating loud and clear that you do not have people seeling ideas that are just that, ideas! you have people that have made money by doing the concepts they are selling. Well Jim let me tell you why that was important for me to hear. it was important for me because I need to be coming on board with genuine money making gurus who I can trust with my financial life. I am currently unemployed but hoping to get back into a regualar job to fund my internet career. I know the more I hear from you the more certain I am that when I have the money I will be joining your silentsales team. I would have liked to have heard more poeple that are currently signed up with you commenting on their successes and or failures as I have said above to convince me. That I would be a fool to pass by the opportunity that lays before me. So what am I saying jim? Convince me my friend. I hope you understand that this is not a putdown but a challenge. I had a chance to listen to the recording of this session. Was amazed at valuable information and eduction that I was able to take away from this session.
Subject for the future (real SOON), ALERNATIVE PAYMENT METHOD ON EBAY. While Pay Pal does seve the purpose, I feel they are somewhat ‘one sided’ with buyers and sellers are being hung to dry when there are fraudulent sales. Funds are being taken from the account and given back to their ‘rightful’ owners. But about the MERCHANDISE that was shipped? These are never returned to their ‘rightful owners’.

I just listened to the download of your conference call and appreciate you giving access to the information, to us people that are not yet members of the Silent Sales Team…
I’ve sold on eBay for 11+ years, working 80+ hrs/week and lately spinning my wheels for naught, fighting the ebay system changes and getting nowhere….
Your conference call had information that finally hit home, that I need to USE eBay, insteading of fighting their constant and convoluted changes and policies…I THINK I’VE FINALLY CONCLUDED THAT I CAN’T MAKE MONEY ON EBAY IN THE SAME WAY THAT I DID IN THE EARLY DAYS – I MUST CHANGE WITH THE TIMES!!….
I will be joining the Silent Sales Team as soon as I can afford it….Thanks again for the conference call….

First, my download also cut off at 77 minutes. How much did I miss?
Second, a mixed review from me. I DID get some nuggets from the call, but was also disappointed…Maybe because my expectations had been set too high. Every time you started to get specific about an idea, you ended the conversation with a pitch for your membership site. So yeah, it did feel like an infommercial, with a high fluff content. Plus I listen to these audios while at the bike at the gym… which makes me extra-sensitive to fluff, like the 10 minutes it took to set up and introduce the call.
Bottom line, if you’re going to advertise this as a pure valuable content call, then tighten it up and leave out all the pitches. I would LOVE to get a 30 minute pure content audio. This wasn’t it.
Jim, that was great! A lot of really good ideas and I hope you do it again. It’s refreshing to be part of a team that wants to move ahead and help others along the way. I just recently left the corporate rat race and this is a welcome change. In reference to Johnny’s story, my ad goes live on Friday. Can’t wait to report results and “tweak” as necessary. Thanks!
Enjoyed the call. The great thing for me is it played without any problems so my new broadband provider has proven to be worth the change.

Researching and finding other profitable niches.

Do you have to pay Gotterberg etc
Then there is Affilliate programmes are they good for a begginer or best to wait until you have mailing list
Our there any other products like the secret health product I will not mention it, as many of us are not in the US
What about selling internationally. Based in the UK I wonder if I should work the US market. For instance is the place where you and John get your CDs burned in US
Therefore it would make sense to work that market.

I really enjoyed the conference call recording! Thank you. I don’t understand why one or two people have complained about the content, as you paid for the calls and the recording is free! I am in the UK myself, and I found the information excellent, educational and inspirational – what more could I ask?!
I am going to go online later and join My Silent Team, which I see as brilliant value. For a long while I’ve dabbled with selling on ebay and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I believe now is the time to make it work for me and my family.
What kept me listening through a long recording, by the way, was your obvious sincerity and belief in what you have to offer.

It’s sad that those who complain about the promo for My Silent Team don’t realize its value, and that the success stories came from within it. I learned a great deal, but more important, it renewed my belief that I, too, can do it. I first bought your book shortly after it came out and have sold sporadically on eBay over the years with varying degrees of success. The old ways haven’t worked lately I gave it up. You have shown me the new direction I need to go in, and I intend to join My Silent Team within the next few days. Jim, thanks for all the information you and the team at my silent team give us. You are a God send at this time in my life. I have had to go on disability and the insurance will pay me for a year so have that time to build an on line business.
You invited me to be a guest on the panel but have not had a land line for a long time (only wireless phones) so could not participate but at this time probably not qualified anyway. I have been selling on eBay for some time with some success as a drop shipper and need to make the move into information products, my own products with a higher profit margin.
