Why you should care that I’m on top of eBay!

Remember that “stunt” auction that I told you about in my December 15th blog post is going like gangbusters!

With two days still left there have been over 5,600 views, 60+ bids, and it’s in the top 10 most watched auctions on eBay shooting towards number one! If you stop by be sure to click the “watch this item” link at the top of the auction!

Right now I can just hear you saying… “good for you Jim, but what’s in it for ME??”

There are several things in this for you even if you are just a free reader of my blog.

Here’s a list of some lessons and good info you can glean from my auction…

  •   You don’t need a “fancy” looking auction to do great things. Did you see how simple my auction looks? Have you seen craigslist.com lately?  YOU DON’T NEED “fancy” to sell online! You DO need trust and you DO need an audience.
  •   eBay is a GREAT publicity machine. How will you use it? The possibilities are endless.
  •   I pride myself in staying creative and ‘putting it all out there’. Good for you for surrounding yourself with such influences when there are so many boring scam artists out there. I’ve earned the right to be considered one of the “good guys” and I continue to earn that title every day.
  •   I’m proving for you the value of MySilentTeam.com and OfflineBiz.com so that you don’t have to guess (or just take my word for it) if they are worth it or not. Clearly, as this auction is proving, membership at either or both sites is well worth the small fee required.
  •   Clearly growing your mailing list is a GREAT way to make things happen. My estimate is that 80% of the visitors this auction has gotten are people straight from my personal mailing list. The other 20% are new faces…many of whom are now joining my list, or are joining my membership sites.

      I just wanted to say Thank you for all the information that I learned from you. Building trust with your customers is so important it is the missing formula that is a lost art. To many are just for the money. Which that is great we need money to live on… But like you said there is so many scams out there… We need to get back to the basics of being honest… Look forward to your new product… I keep learning more and trying to implement every thing off My Silent Team… There is a lot of good stuff on there and so glad I signed up, only took me 2 1/2 yrs.. So Thank You and am grateful that our paths have cross…

      Firstly “Congratulations” on proving to so many of us that Ebay is really an AMAZINGLY powerful platform. I am currently enrolled in a very pricey ebay course in Australia but I have to say that I really learn so much from your tips & tricks, ebay finds etc. I love how everything is NOT a secret with you and that you are honest and very sharing with your information. Despite having forked out many, many thousands of dollars on ebay education I will be joining your site as a member in the New Year.

      Thanks for the great tips and advice you always provide. Interesting to see these bids come in! Whatever happen to the guy Stuart who won your other auction earlier this year for like 30K? You were going to create his own info product. Is he making good money now?
