I look forward to hearing how the ministry opportunity takes shape. Perhaps it will be something that can be rolled out to the cities as well.
Hi, Jim
I’m a returning Silent Sales Member
You have so many fine products, and mostly
what I like best is Your Honesty.
I can’t wait to get into the off line Bizz.
However I’m taking your advice. For years I’ve struggled with to to-much-information-over-load.
I’m learning the word focus,And presently I’m taking,(from your advice) John Thornhill’s Marketing Master Class.
I love how in your news letter, how there is a lot of info. Don’t try to use it all at once. The one example of the student at college doesn’t complain that there is to much info. at the library. You use what you need.
Thank You Jim, for letting me post on your Blog. Howard Piesik
Dear Jim,
I think the ministry idea is wonderful. It also leads into what I would like to do and that’s to create safe homes across the United States for runaways, where they will be educated, shown that they are wonderful people and have value. A place to get off the streets no matter what they were doing on the streets, boys and girls. Most facilities such as these are directed at families with a lot of money. I want it to be a place for the children no matter their families background or economics. A safe Harbor for Runaways. I would like to expand it also to foster children who have turned 18, and are displaced and made homeless on their 18 birthday as well.
[reply from Jim] : Having basic Internet Marketing skills will help you accomplish this worthy goal. If you are an entrepreneur at heart you should grow YOUR business so you can help others in an ever expanding way.
Great info as always, Jim. Like the gentleman above I’m struggling with info overload. In my opinion you and John Thornhill are the best out there. I need to narrow my focus and concentrate on one thing at a time and I believe you are the guys that can help me do that.
Good luck with the ministry involvement, sounds like a very positive thing you are helping with here!
Thank you for all you do!

Hi Jim,
I responded to your email that I received. I’m excited about your involvement in ministry. But here’s what I need help with what I want to do:
1) I’m interested in ecommerce, affiliate marketing through clickbank, IM, and offline IM (working with local businesses)
2)I’m a newbie to the the whole IM world so I definately need one on one help with learning how to effectively use AWeber to build my email marketing list as I have no clue how to do that but I’m willing and ready to learn.
3) As far as the Ebook goes I am so interested to writing an ebook that is related to being single and walking right in christianity. (at least that is the concept) I definately think that there are a lot of christian singles that could benefit from the type of book I’m thinking of writing.
4) I also need help with learning how to do video’s in the process of IM.
So I’m excited about the fact that you offered this option and opened up to your newsletter subscribers for this. I’m also excited to see the type of services that will result from this.

Joined mysilentteam a couple months ago and it has so many incredible opportunities its hard to not get caught up in them all. LOVE all the common sense, incredible information from you and the other team members. Your site and info are a blessing to me and my family and an inspiration to keep working on that focus! Thanks again, and keep it all coming… we’re all ready and willing sponges.
Hi Jim,
It all sounds so inviting! I would really like an aweber course. Setting it up and also what to send to the wonderful folks who opt in to your list.
Can’t do anything right now tho, I am in John Thornhills Masterclass and he says to concentrate on the class. He’s a pro, so I gotta do what he suggests!! =)
Ministry also sounds real good!! I think that would help a ton of people get back to Jesus and know their purpose. And also get educated so they can have a full prosperous life! Let me know how that goes and if you need any help getting the Word out!
I am already a member of MST and for anyone who is on the fence….go for it! It is very well worth it and all the people I have talked to in there ROCK!!
Take care, Jim and have an amazing day!!
Lisa~
Great stuff as always, very motivational and moving… love hearing that mysilentteam.com will have fresh content… Its great for me being a member and getting ideas off there…
I would like to see maybe a course on getting PLR books on to FTP to be able to sell on eBay with Kunaki Publisher learning all the tricks and short cuts to be selling them even when I sleep…
I do what it is like to live in Detroit before moving to California I lived there and worked there so my prayers go out to Kevin and I commend him and you for the work that you will be doing with hard hit under dogs of our society…
More great info Jim! Thanks for your genuine interest in helping others become better marketers. I made over 12K last year with only a small amount of effort as a member of MST, using only ONE of the ideas I found there. That sure was comforting extra income in these uncertain times. Looking forward to anything you produce or promote next. Thanks!
Another excellent audio Jim.
I do wish Rev. Kevin a fast and complete recovery and much success with his ministry, which with your help will be a sure thing.
How to sell / market art work.
I’m a senior who owns Mentors Inc a non profit corp. I would like to help all those artists who are good and their trade / talent but know little about marketing. I want to help them. I will be 80 in a few months and this will be my goal, with a little help from my friends (you). I know this didn’t answer your one question choice but Here it is.
Richard
Jim, you are the greatest – I’ve been a member of MySilentTeam.com for a few years. I have sold on ebay for the past 8 years and will continue to do so. And, I’ve picked up many good ideas from your site. The one thing that is always a problem for me is I want to do everything! How do I choose and then I run up against the mechanics of how to do what I need to do. i.e., I have an a niche site however I don’t know how to make it work as well as it should because I’m unfamiliar with the backoffice mechanics and terminology, not to mention I need traffic and and an email list. So I sit and get more confused.
Anyway I think I fit into a couple of the categories above and would love more input.
Hi Jim
Congratulations to Stuart, great news. Great to hear of a fellow JT student doing so well.
When is version II of the course going to be up and running?
Best wishes
Mike
Hi Jim,
Really interesting & heartwarming audio…
Especially re-Kevin,I hope he fully recovers
soon, both physically & emotionally. His new ministry venture sounds wonderful, there are lots of people out there who need his help
I have been reading your Newsletter for some
time now & find it very informative and human
in its content…. long may it carry on !!
I have dabbled on the Net over the last few years but not had any real success, losing
a lot of money in the process ! I think the biggest problem online is developing TRUST
with the people you are dealing with, this is where you Jim are winning hands down !
Not wishing to sound too cheeky … you are
like a favourite armchair, where folks come
to listen to your friendly advice, without
feeling under pressure.
I’m a relative Newbie to the Net,but looking for ways to increase my pension(which is not
too great!)but without spending a fortune. I
am 70 this year,so old father time is not far
far behind !!
Good Luck
Derek
Hi Jim, What can I say. All of the info I receive from you is fantastic. I have been selling and buying on ebay for a number of years. I enjoy trying to make money on ebay. With your info I received I will be better informed. I am at a point in my life that I just want to make money to add to what I make teaching golf. One main goal I have is to create enough money that I can fund my son’s Memorial golf tournament. I want to make it a tournament that people will look forward to being envolved in. I want to add to how special the tournament is already. This takes money. We now give two one thousand dollar scholerships to my son’s High school’s athelete program which is fantastic. With the info I received and furture help this is what I hope to acomplish. Your ministry work sound wonderful. Sounds like you are a man with his priorties in a positive direction.
Thanks so very much
DoN
Jim…
I’ve come to the conclusion that building a mailing list and either writing a book/ebook or selling ebooks, is one of the better methods to build a mailing list………….
With a book or ebook, one becomes somewhat of an authority on that subject, thus, we would have a basis to develope our own group of followers ………
The mailing list without a product to promote may not be able to provide adequate content to keep the people coming back to us for more knowledge etc…………sooo
How about you put yourself in our shoes…broke, clueless,over-whelmed and confused….and take us by the hand STEP-BY-STEP how you would start an ecommerce business, if you were to lose EVERYTHING that you currently have… and YOU had to start from square one to rebuild your ecommerce business…..Kind of like a business plan…………..
I’m in, if you approach it from this angle, otherwise we’re still a bunch of gerbils running around in circles, completely confused and wondering where in the heck to start……….
Thanks for your great information..
Rick
[reply from Jim]: Thanks for your comment. I hope it doesn’t feel like I’m beating you up with my response, but we all start at the same starting point online. Your income level, education, background etc. can’t be considered a disadvantage here because anyone can become an expert and grow an audience if they put their mind to it. My 10 year old (without help from me) now has youtube.com videos being seen by hundreds of people every day. Over 40,000 views on his account…and a huge list of followers. He films and uploads them himself. He picks the topics himself.
The starting point FOR YOU is to find a need a meet it. Find a problem and solve it. Find a market and give it what it wants. There are no quick fixes to huge success.
There are MANY ways you can start at least some income income though very quickly. Most of those ideas revolve around eBay. Buy things locally that are in demand on eBay. You’ll find them cheaper locally and then you can sell them for profit. Readers of my SilentSalesMachine.com book get a steady dose of those product ideas. From there you can grow and expand into any number of different options to make money online.
Hi Jim
Interesting voice message.
My wifeusually complains when I play gurus, but she said you have a nice voice
[reply from Jim]: Tell your wife that I think she has very distinguished taste…and thanks! ;0)
Hi Jim,
Thanks for the audio. Im new to the im world and very confused.I am a victim of information overload, ive done the typical newbie thing, of signing up to loads of newsletters, trying out various products, allways chasing the next big thing, thats going to explode my income. Well, guess what, it never came.I’ve now decided to cut right back on the number of newsletters I subscribe to and buy from. You can be certain your name will be on the list.
Thanks
Jules
Jim,
I love your audio! I want to write a book together with you! I also would love to be a part your Proven Ebay Course part 2, if I can! Just email me or call me!
Thanks again for all that you have done for me!
Kevin “Mr Ebay” Johnson
[reply from Jim]: Thanks Kevin! I’m sure we’ll be working together more! Always appreciate your help and creativity.
Hi Jim,
I am a complete newbie to online marketing. I am interested in starting with ebay as you have recommended. I live in Canada, so purchasing the Ist ebay Course is not an option…so question is…will your 2nd ebay course be availabe outside the US.
[reply from Jim]: Yep – PEC II will be a worldwide opportunity.
How do you use an auto responder for your own eBay buyers of the past? Do you add the emails to the AR or do you have to use some kind of opt in method? Thanks.
Really enjoy your newsletter. Keep up the great work. Jim
[reply from Jim]: to add ebay buyers to your email list for follow up you’ll need to import them into your aweber.com account. This will generate a confirmation email. Make sure you only do this for customers that give you the OK to be 100% safe with spamming issues. EXAMPLE: send customers an email inviting them to join your list and send them to an opt-in page. It’s easy to set up an opt-in page even if you don’t have a website. Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzdemYscFhY
Finally I paused and listened to your tape; for a year, I’ve been deleting messages you send regularly because I sensed from the first message you sent around that you are a gifted teacher. Me too. I teach literature and want to use my retirement with Oprah in 2011 to publish a second anthology of poetry. I want to sell huge numbers of books on E-Bay. I want to learn more about building a web site and lists and Utube videos all as a part of my bucket list. Here in Montreal, normally we get months of snow when all of that is possible.
So if I don’t “write back” or just keep deleting messages for a while, I hope I let you know I think I was right about the first impression. You keep in simple and offer much. That is a fine gift to pass along, and your generousity sparkles. Power to your arms….
[reply from Jim]: Poetic. Thanks for the compliments.
Hi Jim,
I bought your Silent Sales Machine when you first produced it and keep getting the updates. It keeps getting better and better. I sold on ebay for awhile, but got tired of the packing and mailing. Now I do success coaching for women executives, but with the downturn in the economy, that is temporarily not as lucrative as it could be. I purchased another online marketing for local businesses course and paid a lot of money for it. The course has excellent material and covers all the bases, but it is still difficult to get started. I still have not obtained my first client. I had a few false starts, but no success yet. I am very interested in getting help to obtain my first client and more. Since I already paid so much for the other program, I really can’t afford to join offline biz, but would you offer coaching without being a member of offline biz? I hope so.
[reply from Jim]: Members of OfflineBiz.com and MySilentTeam.com always get the best pricing and often free access to the products I offer, but non-members always have an opportunity to purchase as well. OfflineBiz.com is only $49 to join and $9 per month. It will be worth it to be a member when we start offering coaching.
Interesting it is, but every time I leave you a question, you NEVER reply to me. Why is that?
[reply from Jim}: My staff and I get hundreds of emails every day. I’m sorry if I’ve missed yours. One idea since we seem to be missing each other is to post a blog comment with your question and I’ll do what I can from there.
