By nature we enjoy creating things. It’s a part of our nature that I believe is put there by God (it’s in his nature).
The most fulfilled, excited, and successful people I know in business are CREATING things that they believe in. They are BUILDING SOMETHING. They have a vision of where all their efforts are heading.
What does all that have to do with the Internet and YOUR online success?
I’ll get to that…first consider this…
In the history of the world there has never been a better time to be an “idea guy”. The amount of time it takes to go from “concept” to “reality” has never been shorter thanks to the Internet.
Finding any of the necessary experts, partners or tools that you might need (assuming you need any of those things) in order to “build” has never been easier. The cost of failure has never been lower and the potential rewards have never been higher in all of history.
Got an idea?
Get in on youtube.com.
Start a blog.
Write some articles and post them online.
Get it out there!
Sure you may have to give it some time, and sure, not every idea will be a booming success, but GIVING UP is the only way to fail long term when the odds are so stacked in your favor.
Every success story starts with a spark of passion and a simple idea. What are you building? What would you like to build?

Jim, my problem has always been product creation, afraid I don’t really know what to build/create?
You are so right, Jim. Taking action is the key.
If a person waits for the ‘right’ idea to come along, they may find themselves waiting a lifetime.
On the other hand, visiting forums and reading the questions that people ask can spark a lot of ideas.
The idea/solution does not have to be original. The way it is presented is what counts.
You are right. Fulfilled, excited, and successful people create things they believe in. The happiest people I know do not even think about the process because they are focused on where their efforts are heading. It becomes a spiral effect because one success feeds the next and the next and failures along the way are only stumbling blocks to learn from. Giving up is not an option.
In life, we all have to take that first step! Until we try, we never know how far an impossible dream coupled with a vision will take us!
Thanks for the post!
Jim I think that a lot people do but the one thing that society has given us (not from God) is we want everything NOW…
So the failure that we have is not being patient and waiting for the rewards…
Thanks for the great article see you in My Silent Team.com
Jim,
I just finished your 3 ebay books, followed (even put in a $7K bid or two) your Ebay auction that closed at $19K and watched some classified YouTube Videos – all of the above are amazing.
I want to build Human Capital – I have every tool and resource to offer people. I want to invest all those resources in the people who make up the most valuable resource we have, Human Capital. But how?
Nobody seems to believe in just working together and earning money as a result of that work. People first, money will follow – how do I explain that?
Good article. I particularly like the line:
Every success story starts with a spark of passion and a simple idea.
That is so true!
Thanks for sharing this Jim. I agree with you, success story starts with a spark of passion and a simple idea. If we have that simple idea, we can turn that simple idea to great results. Sometimes, failures lead to breakthrough discoveries.
Kind regards,
Gary
Hi Jim
Thank you! I must admit I am a proponent of the never, never, never, ever give up school but sometimes I just wonder when it will be the pay off day. You reminded me though that as long as I keeping working on it, it will happen.
Best wishes
Anne
