Jim – Your newsletter of 1/9/07 "Is it worth the cost?" struck a huge chord. Presently I'm in an executive degree program which will, if all goes well, earn a BS in about 2 years. I did this because I was "given a choice" to take early retirement a bit more than a year ago, from a high tech company, and since then have been coping with obtaining living expenses, dealing with bureaucracy of legendary proportions and trying to digest all of the information out there. Trying to keep my daughter in a good school so she'll be able to survive. And in all of this I've been trying to get my internet business started. It's been a rude awakening to see how unconscious I was of all the opportunity that's been out there while I was striving to get that ever elusive "1" rating. Somehow I'm beginning to see a way and hope (need!) to get it rolling in '07. Thanks for everything Jim.

    Hello Jim!

I will start off by saying " I have found your newsletters great. Since signing up approximatly 1 month ago, I have gotten a real desire to Make an income online. I will have my first website and Ebay store very shortly,(within days I hope). Listening to your videos and reading your newsletters has lit a fire in me, and that I can thank you for. When I first signed up I had little knowledge and pretty much ($0) income from the internet, I am positive I will be posting a nice income in the future, With some work and creativity, and of course help from You. I will look back at this post and remember where I was and how far I have Climbed."

    cheers

    Jim,

I got your ebooks and have been slowly digesting to get enough info (and feeling of enough security in how to do it) as have been thinking about becoming an eBay seller. Have been buyer for 6 years and think that a good place to gather a certain amount of into. But you and your info are the best source out there and much appreciated. Your ebooks are also a great buy for everyone. Thanks for the link to Andrew Higgins' new ebook on really using the internet for real estate. Am looking forward to more info from him on that. Thanks for your great blog and all the updates. Your newsletter is informative and appreciate the updates. Your info is helping and encouraging a lot of us out here.

    Hi Jim,

Ebay is changing the feedback protocol and eliminating neg. ratings for buyers. What leverage does that leave sellers? Are we now at the mercy of false claims and blackmail? Or will this change eliminate these problems?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Jim,
Great blog and great video – you are a no nonsense kind of guy I am thinking, which is great considering all the crap I have been through (my own fault) so far on the net. Hoping to be able to make this a go this time around. Thanks.

    Hi Jim,

    Teething problem I'm afraid.

Your opt-in form asks for PayPal email ID so that payments

can be sent to my account.

How do I get this right? there is a different ID on every mail that I get from PayPal !

[[reply from Jim]] : your paypal ID is simply the email address that you use to log in to paypal. Not your password…never give that out. Just your email address.

    Jim,

I just saw your video on using the about me page on eBay. I have been a member of my silent team for about two months. I'm selling test strips just like Kevin Johnson showed me. I'm getting more input from Kevin through his membership site MasterMind. I want to develope my test strip business using the about me page. I will be downloading your book from the bonus pool so I can use that too. Thanks for all good help. God bless you.

    Hi Jim,

Any fresher comments? I know you have fresh ideas. I am a disabled veteran and wish I could afford to start. I can see how I would be able to afford to continue my membership at MySilentTeam but I am surviving on $791 VA disability and it is hard to be able to afford to start.

    Hey, what’s up Jim?
    How are you?

Here’s my story: My real name is Michael, I’m 26, I was born and raised in Orange County, California==Laguna Niguel and Newport Beach mostly. I do not have a job, to be honest, I quit my valet job at the hospital where I was born. NO on second thought, I got fired for not being there. I don’t know how to feel about getting fired but I do know what to think.

This is what I think: What if God decided not to show up on the first day of creation, then there would be no me, no you, simple: No US, no planet, no universe, no stars, no sun, no crops, NO NOTHING. Additionally, the thought of my Dad who is a Psychologist not being there for his clients would piss a lot of people off ( if he didn’t show up for the appointment, which has never happen and hopefully NEVER WILL HAPPEN ) Would they just say, “all well,” destroy his office then leave? Anyway, that’s not what I am trying to say. I’m saying I’m a moron for willfully giving away a GOOD PAYING JOB, in a bad economy at this time of year at my age.

There’s one thing though, I get a disability check every month at an undisclosed amount. I get this check because of my so called mental condition ( bi-polar, schizophrenia, and depression ) I hardly think it is morally right for me to accept this check, I think this because every time I go outside, in the store or for a walk down the street GOD shows me that I have done wrong. I accepted a check that I don’t deserve.

If one looks hard enough they will find that God is constantly showing them the way to a happy and successful life. By them I mean you and I, us and them, him and her, you’re catchen my drift…right? I MEAN COME ON, we are human beings right, we are at the top of the food chain which means we have the skills and tools necessary to generate an income that will…

1.) pay for a home or some kind of shelter
2.) pay for at least three meals a day
3.) give us time off when we need it
4.) have enough to pay for our kid’s college tuition
    5.) have a reliable car

We are the masters over and of the planet, we are the ones who create and also the ones who destroy. So, the only reason I don’t have all that I need is because I destroyed a part of myself, I destroyed a part of creation..I am a part of creation. In addition, growing up I was very destructive to society ( cars, homes, people ) I would be so mad about another day of school that on the way home I would take the liberty of keying a random car. It is just now that I realize why my life is so screwed up, it is because I screwed up. God saw that I had no plan for survival, just a very selfish, introverted, destructive mind.

Instead of working hard till the bones showed through, I decided to play hard, I decided to ‘kick back’ while the rest of the world and God did all the work. I am paying for my inactivity right now. Activity, movement, love will pave the way and insure a healthy productive life.

Anyway, sometimes the grandeur of God’s creation is just enough to get me through one more precious second of this Gift we like to call…LIFE.

    Michael-
