New online sellers quickly learn that one of the greatest hurdles to overcome is effective inventory sourcing. The vast majority of sellers never make viable income because they are never able to create a sustainable flow of profitable inventory. As a 20 year veteran of ecommerce selling we have tried many different ways to handle this hurdle. Very few of those methods have resulted in long term success. The LIT group developed by Linda, Jim and Nathan is one of the jewels that has worked for us. The business model detailed by Linda is a great launching point for securing highly profitable inventory.

As an unexpected benefit we have also found LIT to be a treasure trove of alliances with other like-minded entrepreneurs. We have been able to create several very beneficial ‘partnerships’ that allow for greater buying power and a sharing of expertise. This is an invaluable opportunity that we can thank LIT for creating!

David and Lisa H.

I learned about the Liquidation Investment Training (LIT) program with the first offering. Unfortunately, I wasn’t in a position to be able to handle a lot of inventory at the time. However, when the program opened up again a few months later we were ready.

I started with LIT in the Spring of 2013 and bought my first lot soon after. Even though my initial lot was a slow mover, I acquired it at such a low price that I only had to sell a small portion to regain my investment. Using the methods Linda Tyler teaches, I’ve made many business connections who have been glad (even desperate) to sell their inventory to me at 8-25% of their retail values. Several clients have already sold me multiple lots. Recently I’ve been able to gain access to much larger lots through my clients. One lot I was offered early in 2014 had a retail value of $2.2 million. I’m looking forward to a couple more of those lots…

In the beginning, I needed to build cash quickly, so I simply re-sold several lots to other LIT members. I used this method to grow my capitol. Now I’m in a much better position to be able to choose which lots I’d rather resell myself, or lot out to other liquidators.

I’m very thankful to Linda Tyler and the LIT program for helping me realize greater profits by re-allocating my time from less-profitable ventures. I’m currently finishing my final weeks with the industry I’ve worked in since 2003. At that point I’ll be supporting my family solely through my online business. What a great freedom.

Best Regards,

Daniel Leake

Yo Jimmy! You go boy! May God grant you many more years of expanding your network of success stories. As a member of your Liquidation Investment Training, I can only say thank you for all the giving with no personal agenda. You are concise, realistic and most of all you are right! Keep up the fine work.

I just wanted to tell you thank you! Our first deal just went through! Our ****** already indicated he has more inventory he wants to sell us!

Thank you SO MUCH for all the coaching, and your patience with me!

I’m so excited! His only question right now is “When will the check be sent?” I just thought you would want to hear some good news! One of your students is eagerly learning, and so very excited to be alive at this moment….
Kind Regards,
Drew H

Each LIT round fills up with amazing studnets! We look forward to working with you if you qualify, and if you are ready to work our proven system. Scroll down this page to see multiple testimonials from the people you’ll be joining inside the LIT members only training and discussion area once you’ve joined:

We joined LIT, feeling confident that we would make money with the information in the course – because we had already made good money with 2 of your previous courses. We didn’t hesitate, because you recommended LIT – and that is why we bought in!
Our main obstacle has always been finding profitable product to re-sell. We know how and where to sell it – but finding product at a price that is profitable is always challenging!

LIT opened a door to a completely new source – and is working well for us.

Linda has been such an awesome teacher and support! She is so good at this!

Thank you Jim and Linda for putting this course together, as it has opened new doors for us, where we were beating our heads against the wall before!

Blessings,

Mike and Vicki A.

The fourth round filled quickly just like all the other rounds, and the success stories keep rolling in. Our LIT member discussion forums are active, and the biz model flat out WORKS. We’ve had exactly zero refund requests. Scroll down to see numerous success stories including the latest that we just added just below. Ready to get more info now? I would like to take the time to thank Linda, Jim and Nathan for offering the LIT program. What a ride it has been!

Before LIT, we had success selling on eBay and Amazon but found the process of obtaining profitable inventory difficult so when Jim announced the LIT opportunity we were very excited. We even cut short a vacation to be sure we could get in on the teleconference! We signed up immediately and it’s been amazing to say the least.

As a result of the information provided in Linda’s book and forum posts, we were able to find the best suppliers and prices for every aspect of the selling process as well as, a “real” understanding of buying wholesale and selling at retail. I dare say, everything a person needs to become successful at buying and selling inventory is provided. Her book, experience and knowledge are priceless. I’ve also learned a great deal from fellow LIT’ers through their forum posts, experiences and encouragement.

And now to the best part – we are making money from what we have learned on LIT and great money at that!!! We have purchased lots from several LIT members and the ROI has been very good. On one of our products we are making 4 to 5 times our cost!!

I could go on and on……but I’ll close with this – LIT has been the best investment we’ve ever made and it has been a blast!

As a result of the success of the inventory we bought, we have scheduled a cruise in March for the entire family. First time we’ve ever taken a vacation with the whole family!!

Thank you thank you!!

-Sharon W.

As we prepare to accept the next round of students into our LIT program I decided to check in with some of our students to see how they are doing.

Many students are doing HUGE deals, and we’ve had NO students drop out or ask for a refund. To see many more success stories from our LIT students scroll down to the July update just below.

Just below this paragraph is a great interview I just recorded by phone with Chuck K. He and his wife joined us just a couple of months ago as part of our LIT training. Use the play button to hear how great they are doing, and hear their advice for anyone considering LIT. Alternately, you can download the interview using the MP3 link just below the play button.

Ready to get on the waiting list for an upcoming LIT enrollment? Please scroll down this page for details.

Round 3 is now full, but please scroll down for instructions re: getting on the waiting list for the next round of LIT if/when it launches (likely within 4-6 weeks).

Round 3 of LIT is now being formed. Even more great testimonials have now been posted below. If you’ve submitted an application you should be hearing from my team very soon. If you haven’t heard from them yet, please be patient…we are taking apps in the order we received them. Look for an email update regarding the status of round 3 as well. If you haven’t submitted a simple info. request/application yet, read below for details. If you have a question feel free to post it here as a comment, or email us using the contact info on the contact page of the blog (including the toll free number for coaching).

For several days now the “round 2” LIT class has been full. We are working frantically with all new students (at their pace of course) and getting them all up to speed. The success rate among students in the program is unprecedented, and there’s plenty of room in countless niche markets for our incoming students.  We still have many applications being received and we anticipate a round 3 in mid-August for our next handful of participants. Get your app in now to secure your place in line. To get started please visit LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the “take the first step” button.

What better way to update you on the progress so far than to show you what the actual LIT members have to say now that they are 3 months into the LIT program? These are all people that you’ll meet on our active discussion forums if you choose to join the LIT program. We are only taking on 5-10 new members each month and there is a waiting list. To get started please visit LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the “take the first step” button, & fill out the short questionnaire we have placed there – someone will contact you asap in the order requests are received.

I bought a lot (a load of product) as a result of the LIT course (using the NLN concept they give us). It went perfect and what a ‘dream come true’. Never having to touch the product and already making sales with a ROI of 100+%. I will recoup my cost of the course with this first deal.

Wayne S.

We are extremely thankful to Linda, Jim and Nathan for offering us this opportunity. We are truly blessed and look forward to working with everyone in the class
Michelle F.

(It wasn’t easy, but…) Once I connected with the source (that Linda gave me), it took a grand total of 3 days from first call to FedEx picking up the boxes – AWESOME!

Just wanted to share my happy news on a Friday afternoon! Thanks to both of you for all your help!

Donna W.

I wanted to post my first success story acquiring product from *****. I recently received my leads from Linda. I made my very first call and the ***** told me he was very interested in speaking with me and had product he immediately wanted to sell. We started the negotiating process and I just purchased several thousand dollars worth of new inventory from him. Linda’s guide has been spot on every step of the way. When I needed questions answered, Linda provided the extra help I needed to get the deal closed. This ******* now has other lines he wants to sell me and has even said he would start referring me to other ***** he knows. My very first call could quite possibly lead to all the products I will ever need should this materialize as I think it can.

Todd R.

I’ve been truly amazed at how much opportunity we have all been offered to be a part of this program. I can’t thank Linda enough for making her methods available or Jim for making it available to his subscribers.

I know we’ve just scratched the surface of what is possible. My wife and I were looking for something that would change our lives – so that one day I could work from home with my family in OUR business. We’ve found it!

Jeff and Christy H.

It has been 10 years in the making but today I left my J.O.B. and joined the world of the self-employed!

Thanks go out to Jim and Nathan (Jim’s Coaching director) for all of your leadership and support. My husband has been buying and selling on Ebay for 10 years and branched out to Amazon FBA almost a year a
go. He signed up for coaching with Jim and Nathan and learned a lot in a very short amount of time.

We are very excited to now have more time to work on the LIT side of our business. My day job was really getting in the way 🙂

2012 has been our best (by far!) year ever and we are anxious to see what we can do in the 4th quarter! With both of us working full time the sky is the limit!

– Britni R.

Trust me, it does work!! My husband and I have worked many hours to get going
and get a system set up but are reaping the rewards “as we speak”. We are even having
fun with it now!

Our listings only started a few days ago and we’ve already sold 15 items so we are very
happy with those results.

The long and short of this story is THE SYSTEM WORKS. Linda’s attention to detail
in her book has been priceless not to mention her help behind the scenes which has been
HUGE.

Sharon W.

I felt the need to post a huge thank you for the LIT mentorship that we each have access
to as part of this training. Today I ran into a situation with a rather large agency that has
numerous “A” type products and they asked me for a personal referral from an agency
that has worked with my company Vine Associates. They didn’t just want a rep referral
but a full blown agency recommendation. I sent Linda Tyler an email request for how I
could make this happen. She responded within 5 minutes and asked me for more details.
Within a half hour I received a call from Linda stating that the agency was now ready to
do business with me.

I just wanted to thank Linda, Jim, and Nathan for putting this LIT group together! Your
support on the sidelines has been stellar and more than I bargained for when I was
selected to be involved with this group.

I just closed a deal for an inventory of ******* that have a pretty good sell through rate
and they definitely fit the 115% rule. The book you wrote Linda is all that is needed to
put these deals together. I have read it numerous times and it is worth it’s weight in gold.

Everybody keep at it because this business model is something special!

Chuck & Kathy K.

I could never thank Linda enough for all the support and advice she’s been giving me
along the way. This is a fantastic business model, but it’s not easy, (nor did I expect it
to be) it takes a lot of individual determination and focus; however the support Linda
provides is golden. With Jim’s inspiration, Nathan dedication and Linda’s Knowledge
and support I think LIT will evolve into something bigger than any of us can imagine.

Mon, April 9th 2:30PM We have many people now asking how they can improve their odds of acceptance in round two of our “LIT” course offering. There are a few things you can do and ALL of them are good for you even IF you don’t get in next time. First, ramp up your eBay and Amazon selling efforts. New to Amazon? Check out ProvenAmazonCourse.com. That course has created more success stories than any other course we’ve put out in the last 18 months. Next, listen to the call recording below, and then FILL OUT THE APPLICATION offered at the bottom of the LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com page (look for the “take the first step” button). We are going through these apps in the order they were/are submitted.   Third, save up. This course isn’t cheap (thousands, not hundreds), and you need to be positioned to purchase inventory if/when accepted.

Fri, April 6th 11AM We’ve had what can only be called an overwhelming response. I wish we could accommodate many more of my amazing customers and readers, but we are pretty much full with a waiting list at this point. We are determined to give top level support and training to those we let in so we had to cut it off at 40.  PLEASE CONTINUE TO GET ON THE NOTIFICATION LIST AND SEND IN YOUR “TAKE THE FIRST STEP” APPLICATIONS THOUGH. This will ensure your spot for round 2, 3 etc. if/when we do it.

The reality is this, within a few minutes of wrapping up the live phone call we had over 90 qualified applications…and the number is still rising.  The good news: If things go the way we are hoping they will, we’ll have plenty of room (and plenty of sources/leads) for dozens more members over time.

Thur April 5th 6:15 PM (just a couple hours after the live phone call): We’ve had 14 members sign up already (with dozens of qualified applications still to call on) and that’s an old update. This class is filling up quickly. Considering that it takes us 30 minutes or so to sign someone one up, answer any questions, and do the Non-Disclosure agreement etc., and there’s a waiting list of over 100…it’s pretty much full before we even begin.

If you missed the live call on “launch day”, Thursday April 5th, here’s a link to the full full mp3 recording.

Or use this play button:

This call was also recorded and sent via email asap after the call to everyone on the notification list.

The class is going to be capped, and will fill quickly. To get started please visit LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click the “take the first step” button, & fill out the short questionnaire we have there – someone will contact you asap in the order requests are received.

We suggest you not wait more than a short time before listening to this call and then making a decision. We will be talking directly with each person who is considering the LIT course in order to help qualify each candidate. If you are aren’t sure if this is for you, or if you aren’t quite qualified at this time for the LIT course, you might find another option better suited for your situation – please go ahead and fill out the form at the bottom of the LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com page (click the “take the first step” button on that page to get started).

====original post follows====

One of my top students (Linda) has successfully launched two six-figure hands free businesses online based on the ideas she’s learned from my book “SilentSalesMachine.com” and this newsletter. One of her businesses has a unique spin that allows us to share it with a good handful of others without ANY risk of competition saturation, so we are forming a class now that launching soon.

We are calling it “Liquidation Investment Training” or LIT.

This blog post will contain updates as more information becomes available.

If you’d like to keep up to date by email as more details are released, we’ve set up an email list exclusively for those wanting further info. Feel free to ask questions by clicking the comment button above.

SOME DETAILS

Who is this opportunity ideal for? Check it out if…

o This is for you if you have experience selling on eBay or Amazon (not really for newbies without investment cash, but we’ll talk to you on a case by case basis to see if it’s a fit and/or offer you other great ideas)

OR

o This is for you if you have funds to invest in bulk profitable inventory. You don’t even have to be the one to sell it! If you have investment cash this is a great opportunity to flip “pennies on the dollar” inventory to eager buyers. All student accepted into our “LIT” training program will form a “buyers group” with multiple opportunities for all.

Don’t join this informational list unless…

o You live in the U.S. (for now this is U.S. only, but we’ll expand it soon to other readers)

Over the years I’ve launched some of the most successful classes and courses online. What makes my courses different from so many others are these factors:

o We form a community among our students each time. It’s not a “hit and run” launch.
o It’s not “theory” – it’s real world stuff that works.
o We bring in true experts that stick with our students long term. It’s bigger than me or my ideas.
o We get results for our students. For example, the number of people earning daily from joining ProvenAmazonCourse.com (the last course we launched) is now in the hundreds and growing daily.

Don’t expect a big flashy launch production from me. I don’t do those. I just teach what works and get results for my students. If you’ve come to trust that, then this might be for you. Get on the informational list and we’ll go from there.

Interested in the LIT course? Go here for details and to get started:  LiquidationInvestmentTraining.com (look for the “take the first step” button toward the bottom of the page)

Hey Jim, I am really looking forward to working with you. I know from past experiences that you are only involved in high quality business models. I participated in the Amazon program which allowed me to become an Amazon Pro Seller and did pretty well and still selling today. I also entered into “Cross Chanel Mojo” because of your recommendation which allowed me to start my own local marketing business! I would really love to work with you and your team more directly with this opportunity. I put my application in during the call yesterday and I am looking forward to speaking with a member of your team.
    Thanks

We are almost full Joe – but if you don’t get in this round, there will almost certainly be a round 2. Thanks for the ringing endorsement! I only promote what works around here…and I know it works because I’m in the same businesses myself. Great hearing from you Joe.

     Jim,

Are there any openings left? Filled out my application shortly after the call and was hoping to hear from you.

    Thanks

      Bill –
We called all qualified candidates in the order we received their apps. The class is now full, BUT…
There will be a round 2 and the fact that you are that close to the front of the line makes it very likely you’ll get in that round.

The problem is we had over 500 people interested initially…and way over 100 sent in apps very quickly. I didn’t anticipate this level of participation.

The fact stands though that we HAD to limit the participation level to a number we could accommodate since everyone gets such individual attention.
Round 2 won’t be far off if/when (it’s likely) we do it.

  3. Bill says

    April 7, 2012 at 9:53 am

Thanks for your reply Jim. Is there anything I can do between now & the next round to better position myself to be considered?

I understand you had a lot more qualified people than spots available, (Congrats to those who made it in) I definitely would appreciate a shot in the next round.

    Regards,

    Bill

Build your Ebay and Amazon presence. Provenamazoncourse.com is a great place to start if you aren’t on Amazon yet. A solid base on those two sites is an advantage.

    Dear Jim
I believe you are a straight shooter but on this one I am really disappointed. No one contacted me about Lit. I signed up the minute you discussed it on the call. Within hours it was full without contacting me and who knows how many others. I feel it was misleading and now we are waiting for round two or three or…….. Not your style Jim……….There had to be a better way.

    Richard

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 9, 2012 at 8:16 pm

I’m sorry the system left you feeling neglected this time around Richard. I’m truly sorry and hate it.  The fact is, we were expecting around 40-50 apps, around 20-30 qualified students and a small class of eligible, qualified students that could afford what we thought was a pretty steep price tag.  All those numbers got quadrupled on us though and basically overwhelmed us.  I hope you get in next go ’round…and I’ll keep cranking out the best ideas I possibly can in the mean time.

  5. Ryanwhand says

    April 9, 2012 at 6:31 pm

Aargh… I just sent in my application.  I thought I was already “in”.  I didn’t know I needed to call in directly after the LIT call.  I just listened to it now.  I was on vacation with the family.

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity Jim, Linda, & Nathan.

we didn’t offer up a phone number for interested listeners to call in to, but those that knew our number certainly were calling in…but we took in students based on the order of the apps that came in, and the order they were received. I wish we had known how huge this would be to my readers and I might have done something other than “first come first serve”…but this time around it wound up being our only option. We do have some amazing students on board! More updates soon-

This should be wide open to anyone that can afford it!!  Another SECRET club!!

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 2:13 pm

We can only train so many people at a time. Wish we could put it “wide open”, but there are other factors. We want to do it right.

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 3:36 pm

It’s a matter of preventing saturation, and making sure each student gets individual attention. I’d love to throw it wide open, but that wouldn’t be fair to our students that would get lost in the process.

  7. Maureen says

    April 10, 2012 at 11:13 am

I had filled out the application on Friday 4/6 and did not receive a call either way.  Are you still in the process of calling people back?  I am an experienced online seller and am greatly interested in adapting the LIT business model.

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 2:14 pm

The class is full, but you are in line for the next round! I’m very sorry we didn’t get to you this initial round.

  8. AC says

    April 10, 2012 at 11:31 am

Followed all the steps but never received a call. You have to figure if you send this offer out to a 100,000 person email list and only allow 30-40 people in, most will not make it. Kind of disappointing ;.(…..

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 2:15 pm

We thought we had the price and qualifications high enough that only a handful of eligible students would step up…boy was I wrong. I’m so sorry you missed out on this round…stay tuned though. We’ll get back to you soon on this.

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 3:37 pm

I’m sorry about that. We thought the price tag of “thousands” would limit the number of qualified applicants, but it did not. Apparently I have hundreds of very qualified students…and we’ll do our best to roll out round 2 and 3 asap…for now we are taking care of our students that did make it in.

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 3:37 pm

I’m as upset about it as you are. So sorry.

  9. Westfam11 says

    April 10, 2012 at 12:38 pm

I received a call on Friday but it went to my answering machine.  I called back about 15 minutes later but got no answer.  I know the class is full but since they didn’t call me back where does that leave me on the order of first come first served next time?

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 2:15 pm

You haven’t lost your spot. Each app is date/time stamped, and that’s the order we’ll be using when we open it up again.

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 10, 2012 at 3:52 pm

You aren’t moved to the back or penalized. We are taking students in the order they first sent us an app. Each one is date and time stamped.

  10. Jim Cockrum says

    April 10, 2012 at 9:03 pm

We were just letting all interested parties that hadn’t been contacted yet know about the status of the call.

There’s no one manually removing paid LIT members from the “interested prospect” mailing list.  It’s an automated process, so you must not have joined the LIT members only mailing list yet (inside the LIT members area). You are automatically removed from the “interested prospect” list to the “members” list when you join up. In any case, if you paid, you are in. If you haven’t gotten your invite to the LIT membership area yet you will shortly.

    • Tim Simmons says

      April 11, 2012 at 5:56 am

Joined the “LIT only” mailing list and got your welcome Email, updated our profile,  downloaded Linda’s book, and started reading some of the scripts and forms -Thanks Jim

      • Jim Cockrum says

        April 11, 2012 at 6:52 am

is it possible you used a different email to join the LIT members group than you used to request info about the LIT group initially? That would explain why you still got the notice about the class being full even though you were already in.

Regardless – I’m glad you are in and off to a fast start!

  11. Jim Cockrum says

    April 10, 2012 at 9:09 pm

Great question.  The bottom line is that there almost certainly WILL be an additional course.

    the rest of the story:
It’s not a certainty, but it’s quite likely. If I had to put a number to it I’d say there’s an 80% chance. The difference between this training and the one I was referring to on the call from a couple years ago is this:  With the LIT training we’ll actually all BENEFIT by adding in more students at a measured pace because of the mutual benefits of the cooperative “community” we are forming …whereas with the training from a couple years ago the perception was there was too much competition. With the older class, I didn’t necessarily agree, but I left it up to the class to decide. With the LIT class we’ll take all participant’s thoughts into consideration for sure, but ultimately it will be left to Linda and I to decide when/if/how we add more students.

    Hi Jim,

We were very excited about the new class until we saw the inventory in your garage LOL.
In successive rounds, will there be a place for those of us who would only like to take on smaller overflow loads from the original 30?

Great new business plan, but a little to extensive for these two seniors  🙂  🙂

There will be multiple opportunities that result from this course…but don’t’ be afraid to grow! The video above is a small house I rented near mine as a storage spot for our inventory. If it’s profitable to do so, there’s no reason anyone else couldn’t do the same thing.

    Hello Jim.
Just wondring why everything is so quite about the LIT program , we just like to know how it’s going and perhaps you can give us some feedback.

      May 15, 2012 at 4:35 pm

It’s going very well – several of the students are contacting leads and getting inventory already. It’s a process with some unpredictable elements, but we are working with each student individually until they have a profitable and unique source of inventory. It’s going very well overall and we’ll be taking in more students (in the order they applied) soon I’m sure.

    Thank you.

It wouldn’t hurt to sign up again, but its probably not necessary. Feel free to call in for a status update as well.

    Jim,

I signed up for the LIT class in April but did not get in. Received a phone call later from one of your people and was informed that in order to be considered for the 2nd round of LIT, it was necessary to sign up for your monthly fee coaching program. That requirement, if true, has never been mentioned in information related to the  LIT course. I am an experienced eBay and Amazon FBA seller with multiple thousands of dollars available for inventory investment.  I am a long time user of your methods, probably going back 5 years or so, including both Proven eBay courses and Proven Amazon course. I think one would agree that I have received enough training to qualify for the LIT course.

I would hate to think I am excluded from participating in the LIT program simply because I am not a coaching student.

It doesn’t sound like all the details are straight here Rick. I’ll have someone contact you at the email address you’ve provided so we can get things sorted out.

The fact is, we don’t have a monthly fee coaching program, so there’s a misunderstanding/miscommunication somewhere.

I wanted in the first try but you were sold out. I received a call and said that if I took the coaching I would be guaranteed a spot. I did take the coaching. Will I be contacted now for this opportunity?

    • Jim Cockrum says

      July 17, 2012 at 12:22 pm

For students that lacked the required experience on eBay we do offer coaching to help get you up to speed and qualified quickly. eBay won’t allow new sellers to start listing items in bulk, so you have to build up a biz on eBay at a steady pace for a couple months first. To answer your question specifically…”yes”, you will be offered a spot in LIT once there is an open spot. Where you are in line is another matter entirely though. I suggest you contact the coaching team and get details on where you stand.

Why can’t I find out how much this costs before  filling out an application form?

    • Jim Cockrum says

      July 28, 2012 at 5:15 pm

You can get the price before filling out the app, but I don’t want to post anything official here (because it could go up or down by the time you are accepted). Give us a call at the coaching office *1-800-578-3449* and we’ll share the current price for current LIT students with you. We did raise the price from round one to round two, but it’s probably set for awhile now. We spend a significant amount of time in one-on-one instruction and setting up a website etc. for our students so we had to adjust it up a bit, and it isn’t “cheap”.

    Jim,

I just called the number in the most recent LIT email, and it was my understanding that as long as I had eBay OR Amazon experience I would be a good fit for the program (That’s what it says above and what I heard in the original webinar.) The gentleman I spoke to told me there were two spots left (earlier this afternoon) but that since I only sell on Amazon (my volume is about 600 items a month on average) I would need to join the coaching program for $3600 first. I just wanted to get clarification from you.

    Thanks,
    Gary Baird

Much of the inventory you’ll be exposed to via LIT can ONLY be sold on eBay. In order to move a large volume of inventory on eBay you must be experienced selling there and have significant feedback there. We can coach you to that point quickly and help you get the inventory you’ll need in order to pull it off, or you can do it on your own and then reapply for LIT once you are ready. Either way though – the bottom line is that you must have a robust eBay account in order to jump fully into the LIT opportunity.

        Hey Jim,
I found this in the thread. Dont know how I missed it lolol

LIT = You are working with a network of professionals that require the services of liquidation experts (which is what you will be)
PAC = you are using retail arbitrage etc. to make purchase on site etc. Both are legit, but with LIT you’ll find yourself consistently in niche markets selling similar items. With PAC you’ll be finding profitable items of various types and smaller quantities overall, but still, very profitable.

I understand a bit better with the statement above. I think it would be wise to get the PAC first like Brett recommended and built myself up to the coaching program or the LIT.

Sorry I missed the above statement.

    Jim,

I’m sure you’ve been asked this question a lot and I scanned the questions, but didn’t see his exact question- Assuming I am an experienced eBay/Amazon seller and would not need to take the coaching program first, how much capital would be ideal to start with for sourcing product?

    Thank you,

    Tristen

      May 18, 2013 at 7:14 am

After you join LIT you’ll need a few thousand on hand for inventory purchases. Your opportunities could range from $2-3,000 all the way up to much higher investment opportunities. We’ve had members go in with other members on lots well over $100K at this point.

I deal strictly in cosmetics and perfumes in my online sales. Would this course benefit me in finding additional suppliers of such items?

    • Jim Cockrum says

      July 8, 2013 at 9:16 am

It would certainly benefit you in finding new profitable inventory that you could move on eBay and Amazon, and it very well MAY lead to the lines of products you are seeking as well, but there’s not a set niche approach to the profitable inventory you’ll be exposed to. We have LIT students selling all types of items that they never thought they’d be selling…because it’s profitable to do so, so they jump on it. We don’t encourage our students to set out looking for a single type of product or niche, but rather to work the system we show them to uncover all sorts of profitable items that can be sold in large lots to other LIT students, or to individual customers via Amazon or eBay.

    Hi
I’m interested in the LIT, but I’ve a couple questions.
    1. May I limit my purchases to items that are NEW and be guaranteed I won’t get a bunch of customer returns along with the NEW?
    2. Are the items available more suitable to Ebay or Amazon and why?
    3. Can I limit my purchases to those items more suitable for Amazon?
    4. I’ve ordered big lots elsewhere and had mixed results, so I’d like to start small to make sure I am getting what I need. Although I’ll have app. 4-5k available, what’s the minimum order? thanks much
    brian

    • Jim Cockrum says

      April 29, 2015 at 9:23 pm

      1. there is no risk of returns with this strategy. Ever.
      2. Yes – some items will suit eBay, and some will suit Amazon.
      3. Of course. You don’t have to buy anything you don’t want to buy.
      4. There are smaller lots available, but the more investment funds you have to work with, the more opportunities you’ll have. $4-$5K may not be enough to make this work.

I’m a complete newbie that recently purchased your PAC course and am still reviewing the material. I have a 20 year corporate finance background that included inventory mitigation efforts. I have aspirations of having an inventory liquidation business. Would you recommend I get some experience on the PAC side first? Or is this something I can learn and operate in fairly quickly with no online experience. Thanks,

    • Jim Cockrum says

      May 3, 2015 at 5:46 am

in order to be effective with LIT you’ll need to understand and be capable of selling on Amazon and ebay. We can coach you to that point, or the pac course will get you there.

What categories of products does LIT/Liquidation Network obtain and train you to obtain?

    • Jim Cockrum says

I was just told that the only categories in which LIT/the network deal are clothing and shoes.

Most lit students are in clothing and shoes in the sports/outdoor category right now. That’s certainly not the only category though.
